From what I can gather, it sounds like Cardiff have offered to take Elmo on an emergency loan till the end of the season with thw promise of a full transfer at the end of it, with the fee they're offering being more than the fee we agreed with Sunderland for the end of Elmo's loan with us, which is why Sunderland have cancelled the loan, in order for us to stump up the same cash offered by Cardiff, but offer it now. Might not be true, but if it is, sounds like most were right in thinking the loan was cancelled to get a fee out of us.
I thought that an emergency loan could only be set up if the team did not have players to fill the position. If you believe the Cardiff fan on here they have more than enough midfielders and wingbacks to fill the position. Think it is that Irish twat in charge at wonderland stirring the **** again.
You can get anyone on emergency loan(once the emergency loan window opens), there's no rules, other than the fact you can only keep them for a maximum of 93 days.

I don't think there's any tactics at work, O'Neil has one fit right back, that's why he recalled Elmo and he's gone straight into their squad for this weekends game. The Cardiff thing is just a story from the Mirror, in Sunderland all the local rags are saying they expect us to get him back once O'Neil has more cover.
There's no such thing. You can also do them inside proper transfer windows (i.e. now) if you wanted to. But it wouldn't last to the end of the season (only93 days).
You're talking complete bollox ya bloody great pillock, Steve Bruce, prior to the recall of Elmo, stated on the radio that the probability is that Stewart will go out on loan again before the window closes, his thoughts may have changed since the recall. Geddit?
Pointless and Silly Thread. MON has already said that Elmohamady WILL only be allowed to leave for Hull City. Also that Fraizer Campbell wont be going to Cardiff City or anywhere else as things stand. He needs bodies in first. Cardiff City just trying to stir things up a little if these so called bids do in fact have any truth to them. I dont see them having much joy especially over Elmio.
Fraizer Campbell is in Cardiff as we speak. As for Elmo, our manager has said he has no interest whatsoever in the chap.
Sorry, on my phone so rushed my msg. It was my interpretation and reading between the lines of what a journo from a national paper told me. He didnt let on too much, that was me trying to put the pieces together. As its only what he told me with an added bit of puzzle-piecing together, is why I said it could be rubbish. What he did say though afterwards is that Sunderland want rid now as they want the cash for new recruits.
