I saw it once when i was on a ship in the Baltic. There are the same static charges going on in snow clouds as rain clouds, but at a slower rate, but the charge builds up more so when it is released it can be a biggie. It happens near the coast more often due to the differing temperature between the water and the land. That's what the bridge officers told us to inform passengers anyway. I kind like the idea of OPE going up though!
Strangely enough,i was at Pint&Pot on Orchard park about 25 years ago the last time i saw this happen. It far more impressive than this though.
I've seen something like this before, about ten years ago, ball lightning in the middle of a snowstorm.
Kin hell has pint and pot been around that long?? When did Concorde Club go kemp ton? It was like the Wild West in there.
I think I'll spot it more often if it knocks my sky out each time and leaves me gawping out the window. ****ing nature, it should be against the law.
I've watched the day after.tomorrow loads of times and there's no.thunder and lightening. So I confidently predict its.not.an apocalyptic event.
It would be nice if people stopped wishing Orchard Park to be bombed. Some of my old friends still live there. I had an exellent upbringing there and...oh alright blow it up,iv'e finished with it now anyway.
Scary **** that was, thought my car had exploded or something. Sort of good to experience though, is it?
Had my first under age pints in Concorde. Pulled my first whore in Pin&Pot. I reckon it became P&P in about 1980ish.
I can confirm that the low visibility has now forced the boats on the Humber to HOOT and TOOT very loudly and for a long time. It's all kicking off now. Also, a lot of my mates come off Orchard. Fair enough, they're all scum, but I've had some fun up there over the years.
