What the hell is wrong with a Celtic Forum who if any contributor is
experiencing difficulty contract Gambol. Nothing wrong with Gambol
as a person, I am sure but it is similar to asking for a lift to a match
On a Rangers bus or in a Rangers car. At the end of the day you may
be tempted if you really wanted to attend the match and everything
else has failed. However most of this week Mick seems to think that
It is ok for us to hitch a ride with a new born Ranger, who also was an
Old Ranger. Surely we should be able to do better, could we not Mick.

The moderating on here is poor. It is after all a Celtic site, but little criticism of SEVCO is permitted. I got banned from SEVCO site simply for posting the truth, yet SEVCONIAN can post all kinds of abuse on here, but then again it is Scotland.

Suggest moderators look at md20/20 post about the pope. Shameful that they permit it to remain on the board. Scandalous.

I like this Albatross - he's offended by a comment 13 minutes before it was even posted <laugh>

Venom made a thread earlier about a scottish fans opinion poll, sectarianism was one of the things fans mentioned.

I typed FTP, wouldn't be the first or last time and in my defence I hate all religions equally.

Serious question, why are you so vehemently opposed to religion?

I believe religion is the reason for most of the worlds flaws.

Unfortunately for me I only live in a time that religion is starting to get proved as fairy tales. I will not get to experience the world when religion is extinct.

If people can believe in what ever they want (and I believe they can) then I can believe in being the person I am and if that makes me offensive then so be it.

I never said I found anyone's anti religious stance offensive, people are entitled to believe what they will and if other people find that offensive so be it.

I personally have never been interested in religion - although there have been times I wanted to believe in God - times even, when I have prayed to God, (desperate time desperate measures and all that). I know it's conditioning though, i'm intelligent enough to understand that but even so it's deeply embedded in a lot of people for good or for bad, just like our primal instinct to hunt and survive.

The only thing I would say is that religion is not going to go away whether I agree with it or not, and like many things I can do nothing about I tend to ignore them until they impact on my life and that of my family. I'm not that concerned with it but I agree that it can be a cause for a lot of harm, BUT I have seen a lot of people take great comfort from it so i'm more likely to think it causes more good than harm.

Just my opinion for what it's worth.

I have no problem with people believing in religion. My problem is with the things religion forces upon people, for example the BNP (And no I'm not a BNP Supporter) are not allowed to discriminate yet the church is given free right to discriminate against women and gays to stop them becoming bishops.

Even if religion is never completely extinct I do believe one day it will hold no authority within governments and that is when the world will change for the better - in my opinion.

How the hell can a post about a Celtic thread having to rely on a moderator from
Sevco become a debate on people believing or not believing in God or Religion.
It does reflect badly on Mick's choice of moderator. A bit of shame foisted on
    Celtic posters.

I'm struggling to understand what this actually means, however, I'm assuming it the announcement taht bene posted...

It's a practical joke - Gambol has been getting PMs from everybody about Technical Issues which have nothing to do with him and he's pissed off, so I'm trying to get people to PM him more messages.
