The important thing is that the person is good enough and can be trained to fit into our team. Look at Jos last season...not a huge star and not our first choice, but was a massive part of our success. We are not a team of superstars, but a team of good players who have been moulded by Adkins into a team. Let's hope Vergard turns out to be a successful member of our team (if announced).
I know two Norwegian lads who go to my uni - they both said Forren was easily the best defender in Norway last year. But I don't know how much that means as their league isn't the greatest. They did both liken him to Daniel Agger but said a weakness could be his pace.

What does it matter, when people have heard of him? He's a great player, and will be a great addition to our squad.
