Many thanks for that educated input Erik. Have a good night sir. Isnt it your bed time now in the UK?
Was´nt there someone with that user name on the old bbc606 ? I seem to remember it was penfold something or something penfold.
What was this "incident" of which you speak Gangsta ? I'm not just being nosey. It's just that he sent me a rather rude pm,the other night and with God as my witness,i have no idea why. I'm not taking the piss here i promise you,i'm actualy concerned it was something i said. Maybe i can help, you never know. Cheers, KK.
Don't think it was anything to do with you Kempton - it was a previous run-in with Cheshirebwen which resulted in a ban for CB - no point in going in to it in detail but perhaps worth mentioning that most bans approved by the site's owners / supermods are 'time based' rather than absolute (unless the circumstances are most extreme) - as such, Danger got into another spat withe Ben recently and the old wounds were reopened... i.e CB being able to post again as the time ban, in relation to the Leicester board, had expired...
Here is some advice if it's getting too much, Lesta.
Charlie, you know full well that's a bit rich. He's a damn sight brighter than you and your lack of intelligence was one of the things that got him so aggravated.
Alright, since the cat's out of the bag... I see lots of bad language (and you use this more than anyone), I also see comments aimed at Charlie which could be deemed as personal - although, none of us really know how old Charlie is or whether his apparent stupidity is an act or not - but you knew that his mother had passed away and we'd all seen this dispute before, but rather than letting it go you continued to bait him and posting that link to the Samaritans was just about the sickest, most insensitive thing I've even seen posted on this website in the two years I've been using it. This, and the frustration of not being about to take action against you for it, is the reason he's left whether you acknowledge this or not. He's also contributed more to these Leicester pages than you ever will and I for one don't share the sentiments you have expressed at the end of your post. He's not the first Leicester poster driven away by opposition fans. I sincerely hope he's the last - but I have my doubts.
Trust me Jewels,a turnip could aggravate Danger. I wonder if he's just a kid,and maybe his parents checked his posting on here. They might have been worried about his recent behavior ? Good luck to him anyway.
Please don't make out you posted that link out of concern. You did it to take the piss. If you believe he genuinely needed help, you could have PMed or simply left the issue. The latter was most advisable.
My earlier post was only in context to clearing up the earlier 'incident' and making it clear that I didn't think it had anything to do with Kempton's recent posts - by no means was I offering an opinion in relation to the rights and wrongs of the history behind Danger's decision - let's just get that clear for starters. Now I'm a self-confessed WUM - I try to, and perhaps even kid myself that I do, it in a light-hearted manner and always with a sense of humour (which I also realise might not always be appreciated by those on other boards) - but the one thing I am prepared for is that I will get some stick for it and even some retorts that are not exactly pleasant - now my advice, freely given but in no way expected to be accepted, is that if you go on other boards and dish it out, you also need to realise that it will come back at you - sometimes in waves - and if you can't handle it then stay on your own board - this is not, let me make it clear, aimed at Leicester posters -it is meant in general. We can't stop people posting on our board - indeed the forum would, IMHO, siwiftly become boring if that was the case, but if you don't like someone's views you can put them on your 'ignore' list and thereby not have to be bothered with them. Not606 was set up with the intention of light moderation - which many had complained about on the old BBC 606 - we can't have it all ways - for me it is still a far better forum for genuine debate and discussion and indeed some pretty wicked humour at times.
Excellent post. It does get a bit daft at times on here and I'm as guilty of adding fuel to the fire as the next man. When all is said and done it's a forum about eleven men kicking a bag of wind around a field. Let's all share a big group hug and chill the **** out. Peace, love and respect.
