"It was unintelligible" Or maybe I was right so you chose to ignore it. Seems a lot more likely to me.
It's safe to say, anyone saying they're ripping up their season ticket is lying. If not, I'd love to see them try.
Dont know if this helps, but i do feel he has much nicer hair than Nigel, and to me that is a comfort right now.
Lets hope that his lovely barnet isnt the best thing we can say about him come the end of the season.
Its not the new guys fault and I wish him all the success. But to say adkins hasn't been treated unfairly oh deary me. All the corprates talk bullshit about plans and **** well get this Adkins deliever years before this 5 year plan ****. He was ahead of schedule we were only going in one direction upwards. I just dont see what more he could have done. The reason this is done is because hes not fashionable like the new spanish bloke and and because the football world drawls over spain. Adkins has been discrimintated not on his performance and thats unfair.
But it is a positive start, and I have a feeling he will have a nice mourino style jacket to wear on the touchline
Pinochio knew Cortese was going behind Adkin's back, and to me a decent manager wouldn't do that. The fact he doesn't even speak English is a great start.
unfortunately this will divide the fans as much as Lowe did on his seond coming. I remember the acrimonious postings on the old bbc606! not good and a sure danger sign for the future.
four wins on the bounce and we will all love him and most of us will be praising Corteses foresight, fickle bastards that we are!
Yep he delivered ahead of schedule and he was handsomely rewarded for it. He did the job he was brought in to do. Now someone else has been brought in to do a different job. This is life. Why do you think this happened behind Adkins' back? Don't you remember his interview when we clinched promotion to the premier league? He knows this has been coming.
It's a pathetic way of treating someone. You don't go behind people's back, especially someone as succesful and well liked as Adkins. It's obvious it was done behind his back, otherwise we wouldn't have a permanent manager now.
Good article from a mate of mine on Pochettino - and specifically what he will bring: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...appointment-means-for-southampton-and-the-epl
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21081886 he's been looking at us... Tough start for him not all the fans won't be on his side straight away (I will be it's not his fault he replaced Adkins) because he'll be very unlikely to immediately get a few wins to get us on side.
So your answer to "why do you think this?" is to simply reassert it? I think it's likely Adkins knew this was happening. He might not have known exact timing of when he would go, but he knows Cortese and I think he knew he would be replaced.
