    Maybe Cortese will succeed and we will become the big club he wants us to be, but for me it is always going to feel tainted by this decision of his.

    Someone, somewhere is going to get a very good manager! I hope Nigel takes a good rest now, perhaps until the close season to give himself time to make that all important decision as to his mext move. He could do worse than follow the example of Pep who is absolutely certain he has made the right choice.

    Looking at all the reports on our new manager he doesn't seem to have much time for his old team mates or aging players.
    Never heard of anyone changing teams after 50 years but c'mon Blackpool, Nigel and Rickie!

    To be fair, he is also a personal friend of his and an avid supporter of Espanyol who Pochettino played about 300 games for and managed for three years. So not exactly an unbiased opinion I would say.

    Great news, as I thought this might be off now. From what I've heard, MP likes to play a slow-tempo 4-4-2 with an emphasis on possession. He likes ball-playing centre backs so a pairing of Fonte and Forren would suit this philosophy perfectly.

    Ooooh, we wouldn't mind a bit of Lambert down at Loftus Road. Seriously, though, commiserations to you lot on what seems like a crazy move just when Adkins seemed to be guiding your side away from trouble. Teams in our predicament will be hoping that this backfires on Southampton, of course. But QPR fans have had to endure years of decisions like this one so I do feel a bit of sympathy.
