He won't go for £5m, someone will be willing to pay more but we will get more now than we will in the summer. Southampton had bid more previously and much to my surprize are doing ok in the Prem. Many new sides really struggle in the second half of the season so they will be looking to strengthen. If it gets to £8 heâs gone for sure. What will this mean for the Juve game? Someone who can finish is a necessity so who do we get in?

Is £5m really that far from what we can expect? Jelevic went for around that and he's a better player (anyone who disagrees is kidding themselves). The English factor will push Hoopers price up but not by much.
We paid nearly £2.5m for him. Scunthorpe have a 10% sell on clause. Who paid what for Jelavic is irrelevant Tam. They were away to go bust and would have accepted magic beans for him.
I'd like to think there is no chance of us accepting a £5m bid at this stage, maybe in the summer when we risk him signing a precontract at Christmas.
