    If this is because he and Cortese fell out, the question now has to be asked: what is it that has led Cortese to fall out with two managers who were doing fairly well at the time? Also, how in the hell do you fall out with Nigel ****ing Adkins? A rabid badger couldn't pick an argument with him.

    Wow. Not quite sure how I feel about this.... speechless. Why bother giving him the chance to turn things around, like he has done, only to do this. Best wishes go to Nige. He will always be considered right up there with our best managers. New guy better start well quickly or this could turn nasty...

    Obviously not. Cortese thinks Adkins wouldn't be able to take the club to the next level and sees Pochettino as the man to do it.

    I have to say, as disappointing as this is for Adkins, the lack of perspective shown by people on here is staggering.

    Should be some press conference later!

    I haven't written in this site for many months but now I have to. This is just beyond words. I cannot believe it. What to do now? For the first time ever (even during our darkest hours) I hate the club (Cortese!) for doing this.

    When it looked liked we would be relegated, many of my friends said they'd rather go down with Adkins than bring in someone new. Thats how much they liked him. Now, just when things are looking good...this. How can this be good for the team and the club.

    Ever since he was here, we had the best team spirit ever.

    Bugger. Don't really want to go on Monday. How about a boycott to show what we think?
