Morning Peeps,

Yay, snow at last, thats what 2 inches looks like....... <laugh>

We want to hear your snow report

Its been snowing for 2 hours, and have about 2 inches so far in Southampton, and it continueous to snow....

We are one of the only clubs to have undersoil heating. Will that benefit us more of Brizzle more, or will it make no difference?

Warnock has come out6 and said 'the hardcore fans are still behind me'[ True???

Poleon has signed a new two and a half year deal, good or bad???

Morning Elland. No snow in London as yet, but its definitely on its way. Looking very dark outside.

The undersoil heating will at least ensure we have a game.... assuming Brizzle turn up on time. Are they gritting the outside of the stadium? If not, WYP might just cancel the game on H & S grounds.

Poleon signing an extension has to be good. All we need now if for him to get game time, either in cup matches or off the bench... or out on loan again.

Harcore fans behind Warnock? Depends on how we're playing. On the floor & creating chances? Yes of course. Hoofball with Becchio being made to look useless & stupid against a 9ft CB, then no the fans wouldn't be behind Warnock unless it was to shove him out the ground. Let's hope we play some good stuff tomorrow & rack up a shed load. We certainly need to.

Morning Boggers, damn scary how little chances we are getting in front of goal / shots on or off target. Are we the lowest in the league?

Don't know Elland. But Tuesday was much better, which isn't saying much when weighed against the Barnsley game. But it was better.

In answer to your earlier question, not me. Hard at work as ever. But expecting to leave work early, as I do not want to be stuff & have to walk home because all the trains have ground to a halt.... wrong type of snow & all that!!

Snowing in Cheshire and starting to get worse, so looks like being fun today. Should be no problem keeping the match on, unless the Bristol team get stuck on the M5 or the police play twats and stop the match because of traffic problems if the snow is still around.

Glad Poleon has signed, but he needs some game time out on loan, because he could be a decent option next season. I'm also hearing young Dawson is the business, so lets see what the kid can do, because we need something in midfield, but he's young and the problem with kids, is that they are up and down, and a bad game can destroy them for a while. Where the hell is this Gimpel guy who was supposed to be the saviour of our club ...

Going out on a limb here and thinking we win by 3 clear goals.

Morning all, I had to travel to and from Torquay yesterday, went right past Bristol, glad it wasn't today don't think I would have made it looking at the news. We had a fine dusting of snow in Northampton last night and about 1/2 inch on Monday, none today so far although forecast said from 8.30 till later afternoon for us.

Morning all. Snowing here in my neck of Ireland as well. First I've seen this winter. Must win game tomorrow. We need a shed load of point sto make play offs, if that is Warnocks target, so we cant afford to be dropping much more

[h=1]Angry HMV Shopper Eric Nolan Takes Games from Dublin Store after Staff Refuse Gift Voucher[/h]A grandfather from Ireland has shoplifted a number of games from HMV after the store said it was no longer accepting gift vouchers as a form of payment.

Eric Nolan, from Tyrellstown, Dublin, had bought his grandson a HMV gift voucher worth €40 for Christmas.

When the store went into administation on Tuesday, the high-street retailer said it would not be accepting vouchers for products at its 239 stores.
Nolan told the Irish Independent he was furious after hearing that gift vouchers would not be accepted. "Somebody has made a conscious decision not to pay out on vouchers and it's despicable," he said.

He went to HMV with his grandson, who picked out three computer games - Euro Truck Simulator 2, The Sims 3 Town Life and Rail Simulator. The total cost came to €46.80.

Nolan unsuccessfully attempted to get staff to accept the gift voucher as payment and when they refused he left ther store with the games. Security staff followed him down Dublin's Henry Street for some time but eventually gave up.

Nolan said: "We are a nation of sheep - but I was determined to win this.

"HMV has taken hundreds of thousands of euro from the Irish people this Christmas and we shouldn't put up with it."
The grandfather said he plans to post the voucher to the HMV store along with the owing €6.80.

Good luck to him I say. HMV took the money for the gift vouchers in good faith. If they fail to accept gift vouchers for purchases, they are technically breaking the law. Had they caught up with him & then tried to take him to court for theft, they would almost certainly have lost.

Birmingham got a rollicking for their performance. Were we good or were Birmingham bad?

Morning from West Yorks by the looks of it just started snowing and we're meant to be for a 4 day snowathon according to BBC Weather.

That Granddad's a legend HMV should have honoured the voucher, the man did buy it in good faith and it's not his fault HMV have gone bust.

They also owe 30k to a cancer organisation here for a charity record they were selling over Christmas. It was a version of Elton Johns Tiny dancer featuring a load of Irsih artists. Money was to go towards a little Galway girl diagnosed with cancer. Up until yesterday they hadn't paid up. What do you think of that?

Not much Eire. But unfortunately, the cancer organisations will be just one of a number of HMV's creditors if a buyer can't be found. Not good.

Morning All,

No snow to speak of in Wetherby, sadly!

Don't think the undersoil heating will make a difference, btw. Isn't that the whole idea of it? Personally, I'd be more impressed with heated seats!

As for backing Warnock, I'm still with him, and will be until his last day. I support him because of his record, and therefore his potential to take us to the next level. I most certainly do not support the style of play that he seems to think is necessary to achieve promotion. But I tolerate it, hopeful that he can build a team to go up. Doing it in a year was always a tall order, especially with the junk he inherited (and he's still lumbered with a lot of it!). Hopefully, by the start of next season, we'll have a 100% Warnock squad, and then he'll need to live or die by the sword, as it'll be all his doing, with no excuses.

I may be a Chelsea fan but thought I could add to the snow reports...

Here in Leeds (yep... so far the Chelsea fan is the only one in your club's city!... unless Mr Wolves White is in Leeds...) it snowed from about 4pm until 9pm and was starting to settle before it stopped! Hardly anything but expecting more later on today.

Fair points Jock. I think much if not most of this squad is now Warnocks. So hopefully we'll see it finally take off & climb the ladder. We're not far away. But we do need to concentrate on playing footy, rather than hoofball. Even in the Don's days of the W plan (if in doubt, 'kin wellie it), we did spend most of the time passing it around. Perhaps the famous 7-0 Saints match should be compulsive viewing for all of our current side on a regular basis.

HMV are also holding onto the cash for the charity single that the scousers did for the Hilsborough disaster. Pisses you off when the company knew they would be in administration straight after Xmas, but were taking cash for vouchers even on the day they went bust
