Did not see this one coming. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...p-trial-but-lose-darren-fletcher-8456579.html
Liam Moore has just tweeted: @liammoore93: Ohhh my I got the biggest smile on my face ever! What news a friends just told me!! So hard I can't share it with u all. But damn I'm proud
Hope this isn't related! Not sure I like our players talking about moving to Man U as a kind of promotion. They could well be our league rivals next season! It's not like being picked for your country or anything like that. If he goes our squad will be weaker for it - not really something to be "proud" of.
Yep a strange one this, maybe they willsign him for 3million and play him in the reserves for 5 years.
While i would rather keep Jeff but it wouldnt be the end of the world if he left but where would we draw the line with United? What if they wanted to look at Liam Moore? Kasper Schmeichel? Anthony Knockaert?
Sorry, not sure if I agree with you there Gangsta. Man United are one of, if not the, biggest club(s) in the world. It's every kids dream to turn out for a club like that, and for him to get even a trial there, well I'd say I'm even proud of him, and good luck to the lad. I wouldn't say they would be our "rivals" next season, of course there is a chance we could be in the same league, but would definitely be battling at opposite ends of the table! Bit weird though don't you think, if Man United are looking at him, don't you think he would be playing more for us? Hmm...
Evra used to be a striker and became a world class LB just like Schlupp could potentially be - hopefully we will get a decent amount for him if he does go.
United only interested in Schlupp as a left back. If they rate him should we be selling him? Might be too late now as if United are interested its unlikely Schlupp will want to come back here I have heard United want to sign him on loan for the rest of the season and then decide in the summer if thy want to buy him Lets us keep Keane and 1 other for the rest of this season and I would be more then willing
Bit out of the blue that one Im sure Pearson knows what he's doing... perheps exposing him to Utd to get some required left back training/experience before having him back at King Power next year But... what if Konchesky now gets injured/suspended?
I imagine there'll be a recall clause if a loan agreement is reached. End of the day, Konch is our only recognised LB in the first team squad.
