Dont think it is appropriate. Danger has left for his own reasons - of which I am assuming. Dont think any rallying cries would be successful whilst certain circumstances still exist.

Its his choice. He doesn't have to post on here if he doesn't want to, he just said he couldn't be doing with it and closed his account.

If he has indeed decided to call it quits it's a shame and I hope that, with hindsight, he reconsiders. I realsie that I'm certainly not his favourite 'Mod' although his feelings that I in some way favour the fans of other teams in terms of the verbal jousting that goes on is, to me at least, some way wide of the mark - and may to some degree stem from his not knowing the extent (or lack) of power that a Mod actually has e.g we have no direct power to issue bans - these have to be requested (and justified) to the powers that be and bans are only issued in the most exceptional circumstances. Danger's a volatile character but also a most valued poster and I sincerely hopes he comes back in due course.
.. for those that don't know - 2 Liverpool mods found a way to circumvent the system and implement bans themselves - and got themselves removed as mods once it was found out.
It's pretty obvious why Danger has left and, to be honest, I think I'd have done the same. Banter is one thing, but getting personal is another and there's been too much of it lately. I don't really want to see anyone banned but when it gets to the point of posters being driven away, then action needs to be taken. We're supposed to be talking about football. Let's keep the insults (if insults are necessary) football related.
If I may give my two-penneth? Danger was capable of reasoned intelligent debate. But as fosse alluded to, he was also forthright with his opinions. if you didn't agree then he could be unpleasant. Still I would have rather reasoned debate than stupid ****
I know what you mean but I think this was actually because he is quite a sensitive soul - I think he lashed out when he felt under attack. I got the impression this place was making him angry rather than providing him with the entertainment and information it's intended for. Coupling this with the "incident" the other night and it's easy to see why he called it a day.
It's a shame it wasn't da Lesta Gangsta wot left, as he's a grade-A cock You're all aware that I think that all posters on the Leicester section of this forum are arseholes, but Danger Fox was at least beginning to try and engage in some sensible discussion with myself and the other Hull fans. I won't be losing any sleep over one of my cyber-foes leaving the internets though
