It just smacks of how things went with Charlie Adam...and look how that worked out. Move on and pick a decent target and say **** you Oyston!
Karl Oyston and his father took £11m from Blackpool after their one season in the Prem. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...paid-11m-Blackpool-relegated-Nick-Harris.html Bastards.
We sold Ince because he refused a new contract as he wanted to play first team football. He's young and we know exactly how talented he is as he came through our youth system. I think he's now proved himself as a decent player at blackpool and if we are trying to build a squad for the future i believe he is a good addition. We also are short on homegrown players, with players like carra and stevie close to retirement and cole and possibly others moving on its important that we have enough home grown players so we can increase the senior squad size when we eventually return to the CL
I've heard things about this and allegedly Paige couldn't be more correct. Allegedly not an easy man to do business with. Allegedly doesn't like paying agents as it's allegedly money that could allegedly be directed elsewhere. Allegedly.
I agree, apart from the short of home grown bit. We have Henderson, Allen, Sturridge, Kelly, Wisdom, Sterling, Robinson, Shelvey, Morgan and every one favourite, Downing.
ince is decent, his record is good but again.... i do not see him being ahead of 4-5 players in the queuse so are we buying back a reserve... i just don't see it. is he now that good all of a sudden that he'd displace sterling?
Don't go spreading facts arounds so carelessly, you are violating journalists' human right to sensationalise stories of insane transfers. And the same goes for any disruptive consumers who insist on quoting accurate transfer fees rather than rounding up to the nearest £10m.
...I keep taking comments far too seriously! It does annoy me that we constantly see posters say 'we got rid of' or 'we sold' etc when referring to Ince though. He chose to leave to get first team football, he rejected a very good contract offer to do this too (confirmed by both the club and Ince himself) and IMO this should be commended
