Haha, I will admit I was seething once I read 'Remy Twist - Player understood to be having medical at QPR' on Skysports. But hey, we've both had to put up with Joey Barton, so we at least have some common ground there. Anyway, I'm off, but all the best with the rest of the season, and let us know if Taarabt is surplus to requirements once the moves for Messi start rolling in
I was listening to 5 Live earlier and they were saying that two other PL clubs have enquired about M'Vila and that he'd rather join one of them.
As you say, you've done it yourselves in the past. If it works, we won't really care what others think of us, though personally I think the whole game will eventually implode because of the stupid amounts of money involved. Anyway, 2 important questions: - how can any Newcastle fan dislike the club who sold you Sir Les? - you don't like Sammy, but what about Shola?
And I wouldnt blame him.....we arent in the best of positions and can only really offer wages and promises of "project" should we manage to stay up.
You're weren't my second favourite team. Nor were you ever the second favourite team of anybody I know. It's usually Arsenal. Sometimes Chelsea, when they used to play good football.
You've got it all wrong - I don't hate QPR at all. I was just showing why some fans might (resenting the money issue). Question number two - Shola Ameobi is a saint. Nobody scores that many goals against the Mackems without reserving a lifetime seating position in my heart.
Just because nobody you know, doesnt mean F'all old Sheldon Cooper. Ive supported QPR all my life.....when we were rubbish, I used to get other fans saying they liked QPR...or that we were a good family club. Nowadays its quite the opposite, with a lot of hate directed towards us.....difference being.....we have spent money and slighty come up in the world.
So why are the likes of Saints fans moaning at us when they spent £20m on 2 crap players and we are looking to spend £15m on 2 players who are top class and were worth over £45m a year ago?
Its great if we get him but not a problem if we dont, we really, really needed a CF and weve got out man. MVila is a luxury signing as we dont really need him, unlike a CF and CB or 2.
They all think they are a bigger club than us, the only reasoning for that can be a bigger stadium but we will soon see to that and then we can be bigger in every way. Just read that Russia is out out the equation so its us, Everton or Fulham i think.
Yeah..its all simply becuase we have a small stadium.....all clubs have to start somewhere and grow. Other fans just dont like it when you attract decent players and spend big money......saying "you'll go bust like Pompey" when they know F'all about us...or they bring out the "Financial Fair Play" bollox that only suits the big clubs and just means that you create a monopoly for the already established clubs. The 40 Million you get a year in Sky TV money can pay 16 players £50,000 a week.....thats without Stadium tickets and other merchandise....we have no debts and we own our stadium and have one of the richest owners in football.
