Feck Drink , Feck. Drink. Or something like that Basically just calling Suarez a excellent pro for admitting it, although as it's Suarez it's just gamesmanship whereas Bale is a cheat.
Think you'll find it's one win. He didn't play in the FA Cup game last season, for obvious reasons. Dirk Kuyt has 'humiliated' our defence with greater regularity than Suarez. Now there was a big game player
Serious question time No that Suarez has admitted to cheating, should the FA ban him for x amount of games, for bringing game into disrepute?
Wouldn't happen, because anyone who isn't mentally unstable (that rules BBF out) could clearly see the Stoke incident was a pathetic attempt at a dive (which he followed by actually asking why the decision wasn't given instead of realizing it was a **** attempt at conning the ref and getting on with it) so the fact he's admitted it changes nothing really, except maybe the headlines in the papers.
Course he won't. Even Columbia is ahead of us in that regard. http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2009\05\01\story_1-5-2009_pg2_23 Definitely. In many ways he was the opposite of Suarez - always stepped up for the big games, but had trouble dominating and making an impact against the weaker teams. Probably not a coincidence that since Kuyt stopped scoring and left you've almost completely lost your ability to beat the big teams. Even when he wasn't scoring freely last season he probably scored the most important goals of your season, and arguably did the same the season before.
Not at all. I would guess you probably consider him a role model In all seriousness, he does seem like a decent bloke outside football. No trail of battered girlfriends, wives or DJs, no knocking up teenagers or grannies, and no ****ting where team mates or siblings live. Probably just one of those people whom competition brings out the absolute worst in, tho' I'd have thought he'd have learned how the media operate by now.
Luis Suarez diving: Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers reveals anger Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers says Luis Suarez's admission of diving is "unacceptable" and he will be dealt with "internally" by the club. The 25-year-old striker admitted "falling" to win a penalty when Liverpool faced Stoke in October in an interview with Fox Sports Argentina. Rodgers revealed the club would take action against the Uruguayan. "I think it's wrong. It's unacceptable. I've spoken to Luis and it will be dealt with internally," he said. “ I was accused of falling inside the box in a match, and it's true I did it that time, because we were drawing against Stoke at home and we needed anything to win it ” Luis Suarez "Diving is not something we advocate. Our ethics are correct. "He has been totally understanding on where I am coming from as manager of the club. What was said was wrong, he takes that and we move on." Suarez's admission was in relation to Liverpool's goalless draw with Stoke and after the game he was heavily criticised by Potters manager Tony Pulis. At the time Fifa vice-president Jim Boyce also criticised the former Ajax forward by claiming that diving was a "cancer" that was ruining the sport. And on Wednesday, Suarez said: "Football is like that. Sometimes you do things on the field that later you think 'why the hell did I do that?' "I was accused of falling inside the box in a match, and it's true I did it that time, because we were drawing against Stoke at home and we needed anything to win it. "But after that everybody jumped out to talk - the Stoke coach, and the Everton coach... I understood that the name Suarez sells [papers]." http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21064709
Like eric said, love the Liverpool fans defending Suarez. The guy admits to cheating and they love him. Someone is desperate their only decent player may leave
The rat faced cheat is at the right club although tikitaka has condemned him. It would be interesting to see whether the cheat stops cheating. He has got it in his blood. Player of the year now guaranteed.
agreed. It was that way since he joined. set up the winner in every knockout round for Holland's run to the WC Final as well. as sound a person as you'll find off the pitch too. lots of charity work and no controversy. I was a big fan.
