Same for Graham his decent scoring record was in the Championship. He has done ok in the EPL. Michu has shown what a really good striker can do with all the chances a decent passing side creates. I am just not sold on him, he is worth about 5m its not bad value for money, but when you think we spent 13m on Gyan who was short listed for the Ballon d'Or. Its not much of a replacement?? We replaced Bent with Fletcher (no problems there), Wellbeck with Wickham (again no problems with that). Its time to replace Gyan and Danny Graham for me does not cut it.
I know what you are saying about Graham not been a very exciting replacement. Gyan only actually scored 14 goals in 48 appearances for Rennes though, hardly prolific! Danny Graham scored 12 last season in a much tougher league.
