Steve Nielsen set to join Toro Rosso as sporting director:http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/105148
Sauber-Mercedes, it's like the early 90s all over again* *as I was born in 1994 (you see, my name makes sense now) this statement may be subject to review
More bullshit from Di Resta: "It will be quite nice to race Nico without having team orders" - Hulkenburg was so far ahead, when did he need team orders?. Also I thought Di Resta was given the preferential treatment at the start of the season? "We've missed the flukey results and the podiums, but I think as a team we wanted consistency far more" - Perez got McLaren, you got nothing. Get over it you bitter fool. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/105152
All I can say is wow! F1 has really become toxic over the last couple of years for some strange reason... No wonder Di Resta beat Seb in F3 with his injured hand, he's just a massive tool box from Scotland, talking crap and going way over the top on mind games!
I really hope he has the worst season in human history.. He doesn't even deserve a spot on the grid anymore.
Did Jaques Villeneuve ever visit Scotland by any chance because Paul is sounding more like him every passing day.
http://www.f1today.net/en/news/nico-rosberg-faster-than-sebastian-vettel--perez? Mind games from Sergio towards Vettel? Sergio can be said to be a contender next year. http://www.gpupdate.net/en/f1-news/289391/kovalainen-i-m-still-in-talks-with-caterham/? And Kovi still has a chance?
I swear ever since Di Resta came into F1 more and more drivers/journalists have been trying to press Sebs buttons over these 2 years, first Paul, then Lewis, then Alonso and now Perez has come on the slam wagon. They are really trying hard to upset the apple cart! The funny thing is though the more he proves them wrong, the louder the insulting becomes. But shoe on the other foot, maybe Seb has a bigger mouth than we like to think behind closed doors possibly?
The FIA has appointed Dr Ian Roberts as Formula 1 medical rescue coordinator, after deciding not to renew Gary Hartstein's contract at the end of 2012. http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/105173 Roberts is a respected name in the motorsport/medical world so its a good final decision, even if replacing Hartstein still seems a bit of a unsolved mystery.
Webber's Red Bull engineer since 2007 Ciaron Pilbeam and Raikkonen's Lotus engineer Simon Rennie will be swapping places next year! http://uk.reuters.com/article/2013/01/17/motor-racing-engineers-idUKL4N0AM7VI20130117
