You can keep the black and white supporting twat for me lads.

I wouldnt touch the dirty fecker with bargepole?

I mean, would you want a Cardiff supporting player that had slagged your club off beforehand?

You need to grow the **** up, we've had players who have played for Cardiff play for us. And I've seen what he said and he didn't slag off your club!

He did say he'd stay as far away from Sunderland as possible and we can't blame him for that.

Bottom line from a Swans point of view is that if he wants to go we have to make it happen. But I really don't think Kenwynne Jones is the answer. Can score goals but is't composed at all. It may be that Laudrup feels we need someone who's decent in the air to give us another option but I'm unconvinced.

Its gonna be very hard for DG to win over the Sunderland fans if he goes there. If the rumours about him liking a drink are true then being back in the North east with his mates aint gonna turn him tee total..<laugh>

I want him to knuckle down and stay here but it may be that Laudrup just dont fancy him, watching him last night was a good reason to back Laudrup,DG didnt seem his normal self and though his service was crap he didnt really make any impact or hold the ball up when he had it.

In Laudrup i trust on this one <ok>

Not who any of us would have 'wanted'

However, anybody pulling on our red and white shirt, will always get my full support.

If they have bid, how much? As Ivor said on another thread we paid £3.5m and since he's got a season and a half of Prem experience scoring 12 goals last season. Got to be £5m minimum surely?

Danny is from Gateshead which is (I believe) south of the Tyne, Newcastle territory!

They are near his home club which would be Newcastle as he supports them apparently

Don't know what paper you're reading there, just go on the Sunderland forum to find out they think about this.

I care because if he's going we got to have his replacement signed already, plus we need to get a good price for a proven premier league goal scorer.

Norwich have made a £5 million bid according to SSN. Pathetic bid imo considering Liverpool paid £12million for Sturridge.

Hi Norwcih fan here. Are you happy that DG looks to be on his way out? And why? From what I've seen he has done quite well, certainly recently and I'd of thought you would want to keep him until the seasons end at least. If it is true Norwich have tabled a 5 mil bid that sounds a reasonably fair price to me. Good player who I would like to see at CR but no world beater. Have a good season guys

What makes you think we want him to leave ? If he is to leave to a direct rival then I think it's stupid to let him go for such a small sum, we also need to give 15% of any profit to Watford so I think a figure of £7m-£9m, for a proven premier league scorer is the minimum we should let him go for

Hi Tipsy, I for one have said all along that we should keep DG, and his performances recently have only reinforced my opinion. Also if we did sell him I wouldn't like to see him at Norwich as you are a rival club of ours and it could easily come back to bite us on the backside. A proven PL goal scorer who we should be keeping in my opinion, especially when it seems Kenwyne Jones is our supposed transfer replacement.

although i have never been a DG fan he is not a bad player by any means and he works his ass off when he plays. my veiw on him going/staying is that unless we are getting something alot better its best to stick to what you know which is not bad in danny's case.
