Yeah agreed. Its interesting that QPR still havnt finalised the M'Vila deal, wonder if anyone else has come in?
They have European honours a stadium of 80 000 capacity, currently a better team. In what way aren't they?
I wouldnt use the stadium size as an arguement, they were practically gifted it and the subsequent expansion when Germany were hosting World cups
They have won the German League twice in a row and are growing in the Champions league they are the better team. But i do agree they are not as big a club as us currently. But there is far more impetus for Gotze to stay there than come to us.
Please tell me this 30 million bid is not a PR stunt just so we can say "we bid big money but they wouldn't sell" "But we have signed Walcot" I have so little faith in Wenger/the board at the moment but I want to believe
I read something today saying we had bid for Llorente but he has almost completed a move to Juventus. Maybe they put a cheeky bid in for someone they knew they wouldnt get so they could say they tried.
stories in the guardian http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/jan/17/arsene-wenger-arsenal-edinson-cavani and the telegraph http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...dinson-Cavani-in-January-transfer-window.html about cavani. I'm very sceptical but that would be one heck of a signing and would provide us with that top top quality up front. I wonder what are his current wages at napoli and whether that would be a problem. And would napoli be willing to let him leave especially after lavezzi left in the summer although £30m could test that.
Well they rejected £45m for him (55m euros) so I doubt they'd let him go for £30m. Those newspapers are just making an article out of a single quote. We all heard it, and it certainly didn't get me excited then.
