Actually, I don't think QPR matter now. They are too far behind us at the moment for their results to have any direct bearing on us, except their picking up a few points off teams in and on the fringes of the drop zone can only help us. So just for this weekend I will want a QPR win.
Agree Chiolco. QPR are effectively three games behiind us. Important that the teams now above us don't get away!
I'm not sure. QPR have improved and are picking up some good points now 3 against Chelsea, a draw with Spurs etc. All we need to finish is 17th, I'd rather QPR get stopped in their tracks and cut further adrift. If they were to play a team below us that changes and draws all round are best.
I have made a bet with a work colleague that we'll finish above Sunderland - What you think? In the words of Kevin Keegan "I would luv it" if it happens and after last nights result I reckon there is a fair chance.
Five weeks ago I had them as being in big trouble but tbf they turned it around. Would like to think we can finish above them but it will probably be close!
QPR play boring 10 men behind the ball crap, but I could see them sneaking out. I have money on us finishing 13th so hopefully i'll be right.
We've got to have our short-term rivalry with someone. Brighton, West Ham, Bournemouth, Swindon - ah, good times
All our recent mini rivalries have been with the teams we have been competing with. So from now it may as well be Manchester
After last night's cup exit Villa are deep in the mire. No players coming in, a growing injury list and a 6 pointer on Tuesday against Newcastle. Ithink they are going to struggle to escape the drop now so it's them, QPR and Wigan for me!
It's getting interesting down there certainly. The last eight current form guide looks like this: Saints 11 Reading 10 QPR 9 Fulham 8 WBA 8 Norwich 7 Villa 6 Wigan 5 West Ham 5 Newcastle 4
