I agree, I think it's obvious he doesn't want to go to Turkey (can't blame him!) & he's biding his time waiting for a more suitable option to appear. The nearer the end of the window comes, the more hats will land in the ring for Sniejder imo. He's got a reputation for being an egotistical twat at times, but his quality on the pitch is top, top drawer. Personally I'm very surprised that United haven't shown an interest yet.

They fell out a few years ago whilst playing for Holland & there was a bit of a press spat between them. However, I've never had Ferguson down as a man who'd allow something like that to stop him buying a player that he thought would benefit his team.

The fee is only £6M so I don't think it's comparable to the RvP deal. Wages are wages irrespective of age.
