I'd prefer DJ over Fraizer, I think his game is more suited to our style of play, though that was before Elmo was recalled. Two Campbell's would just about cover everything!
I'm fed up of people saying we are bottlers and been on this position before only once have we been top at Xmas and fell away! For the last 5 years we've never had money always had to sell our best players to avoid administration relied on only loan signings and even had transfer embargoes! It just shows how little knowledge you know about other teams. This is the only time we have ever spent serious money! With our new owners, new management and new squad of players it be a different, there are only 5 players at the club from the era of Dave Jones We are a different team!!! So you think getting to 3 finals in 5 years is bottling it your very wrong how many have you been in? We've overachieved on a very tight budget. Go use google search and do a little research. Can't wait to come to your place and turn you over! I would like you guys to go up with us but some of your fans are very negative towards my club. Anyways good luck for the rest of the season, hopefully we both have secured the auto spot by then.
Does anyone have a feeling it could be Jay Bothroyd? Been recalled from Sheffield Wednesday a few weeks back and scored in the cup last night past Mr Myhill?
If Campbell goes to Cardiff, along with DJ they'd have a surplus of strikers. That'd be: DJ Campbell, Fraizer Campbell, Rudy Gestede, Etien Velikonja, Craig Bellamy, Nicky Maynard, Heider Helgusson and Joe Mason. Which is ****ing ridiculous, they don't need 8 strikers in their squad. We currently have two, so if we bid for either Campbell and told them they'd be first choice, where do you think they'd go?
I think Bellamy plays wide and Mayard is injured for the rest of the season. Its still a stupid amount though
The tactic must be - Get the players our rivals are linked with, so they have all their targets taken away?
I'm pretty sure that's what Manchester United do; just buy players so others can't have them, then loan them abroad.
I wish we'd drop this obsession with the greedy bastard, he was hardly prolific here the first time, 15 in 34 isn't anything spectacular, now he's a washed up bench ridden version 4 and a half years down the line ffs. Hardly someone to pin our goal scoring hopes on.
15 in 34 is a great ratio at this level and Fryatt managed 16 last season, so it's above average. So, who would you bring in?
