More, what I can only assume is conjecture, from James Nursey on twitter. He is stating that one of our striker's exit is imminent to raise extra funds for Hooper. I'm sceptical...
I see pep taking up the Utd reigns of successful at Bayern. I think he's waiting for that position. Anyway..m'vila and remy the new tevez and mascherano?
He's confirmed he was talking about jackson to wolves. He never mentioned Hooper, just said it would raise funds for a new striker.
Hooper link won't go away, but I'm not getting my hopes up. (Well not much anyway) http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/footb...wich-transfers-gary-hooper-the-celtic-1538122
I tweeted nursey asking why he keeps repeating the story of the 30k p/w and he replied "because Hooper or #ncfc haven't denied it". Lazy journelism at its best there
I don't think we've denied trying to sign Rudyard Kipling either, at least I certainly have read any denial anywhere anyway so there is possibly as much truth in that rumour which I have just clearly made up.
very lazy indeed. well i'm at a half glass empty stage today regarding transfers - i don't want to get my hopes up and then they are destroyed!
i shall reiterate what i've said many times before. james nursey is a norwich fan but he is not an informed norwich fan. he's guessing as much as we all are, putting two and two together...
We do need a striker though, seriously. I think with hindsight Kane may have been a mistake and maybe a little bit of panic buying crept in. Also I am not sure that we should have sent Vaughan out on loan, I know he gets injured blaah blaah blaah, but he is different than what we currently have and right now it would of been good to have had him as an option. We will see but I really do think we need a striker.
vaughan didn't want to be here. and you cannot dismiss his injury record like that - he has missed more than half huddersfield's matches this season through injury
I also agree with Kemp, especially about not having enough strikers. The injuries to Holt and Moro have highlighted that. City need another striker anyway, but if Jacko or Moro leave, they will need replacing as well, and I don't think there's money for that. Thus I don't see any strikers leaving. The minimum this window is one more striker.
Makes sense - I think he'd prefer a move north. He'll end up there or at the Nukes I reckon. The bit about Vaughan and his injuries shouldn't be overlooked - the reason he, and Ayala, were sent out on loan was to get game time and test their fitness levels - both have subsequently, and probably unsurprisingly, spent half their loan in the doctors chair.... we'll not see either back at CR .....
if he does go to sunderland he might have to do some initial apologising to their fans for slagging the club off
Supers, say we made a bid aswell for DG. Out of the 2, who do you think he would choose us or the mackems?
