I had a Tesco burger yesterday and it was good, soft in places. Tesco have pleaded guilty and asked for 9 other fences to be taken into consideration.
Don't know what ST and Toby are sniggering about. Even their vegetarian range are not free from the scandal. Supposedly their veggie-burgers have been found to have traces of Uniquorn in them.
I was eating a burger in the Tesco cafe last night and the girl asked if I wanted anything on my burger. I replied, "yes, a tenner each way".
I see Tesco have taken out ads in national newspapers today to deny the horsemeat stories. They reckon it's all a load of pony.

It turns out that the whistleblower was a Tesco employee. He's since been sacked for dobbin them in to the media.
I feel sorry for Tesco and the whipping they've taken from all quarters. It's been common knowledge for years that supermarket fodder in general has a high shergar content, whether it's in the snacks we graze on or the mane meal of the day. Ultimately we're saddled with it and unless we all live on stirrup sandwiches, fillydelphia cheese or pork piebalds it's unlikely we'll enjoy a stable diet.
