Giggs has been largely woeful this season but you have to say the improvement in the last few games has been remarkable. Like others have said very impressive today. As for the game overall Rooney penalty was comically bad but, otherwise a good win, hopefully we can have some kind of run in the cup. Our recent record in it is starting to look shaky.
Giggs has done that for the last couple of season. He's poor for the majority of the season, the hits a path of form and rolls back the years.
Should have been a "recent" in that sentence of course, but dont bring up Arsenal winning things it is actually possible to die of laughter you know.
Giggs is usually poor when he's played in the middle of he pitch, no matter how much he's changed his game as he's gotten older he is still not a central midfielder. West Ham gave him space in the first half and he did okay, but the second half when Nani went off and he moved to the left he showed some signs of the old Giggs, he did so much more in the space of 3 mins or so than Nani managed in 75 mins or so.
1804: FOOTBALL The Football Association statement on West Ham manager Sam Allardyce being charged: "West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce has been charged with misconduct in relation to media comments following this week's FA Cup with third round replay against Manchester United at Old Trafford. "The charge is in relation to an alleged breach of FA Rule E3 concerning media comments which questioned the integrity of the match referee and/or match officials in general and/or implied that the match referee and/or match officials in general are motivated by bias and/or brought the game into disrepute. "Allardyce has until Wednesday 23 January to respond to the charge."
To be fair they didn't deserve their last trophy. That final still makes mad to this day. I hope the fate/universe punishes them for many more years.
