My thoughts are ambiguous, but his performance last night tips the balance. Glad that he has gone (allegedly).

To be far to flyer he did say loan to the Middle East then onto Greece. I think Harry's response to questions about subbing Cisse last night says he's on his way. With a wry Harry smile he replied to a question about taking Cisse off with 'he had a sore tummy' !! Thanks for last year Djibril shame you couldn't carry it into this season.

I think his comments seem to prove he's played his last ever game for us.

Thank God. He's been so poor recently I thought no-one would have him.

Last season, yes, thank you DC.

This season, utter waster. Good bye.

I was listening to the commentary last night and the said that we effectively played with 10 men in the first half.

Yes, he did score some vital goals last year but missed too many games through suspension so bon voyage and concentrate on your perfume.

As for Odemwinge, do you reckon Harry tapped him up in the corridors of the Hawthorns last night :emoticon-0105-wink:

Apparently Mr Redknapp said he (Cisse) had an upset stomach, hence his poor performance and half-time substitution last night. If true, the ****s must come on every time he pulls on a Rangers shirt this season.

Every post on this thread is a decent one despite the wide range of views.

For me, it's a good move - we've just got another striker in and seeing him go is made a lot easier by his apparent disinterest.

Good finisher, big character with not a lot to feed off this season (but the Mackies of the world create their chances with hard work so it's not a great excuse).

Good luck and thanks for the memories - plenty of them both good and bad. It's been fun and emotional.

Given the remy signing, is it likely Cisse will work even harder in training and on the pitch to get his place back? Or is he likely to act even more disinterested? If the latter, which I believe is more likely, then he's not up for the challenge and we need to free up space for a striker who will.

He laughed as he said it, it obviously wasn't true but teams abroad won't know that if they see the quote.

Bothroyd certainly showed his mettle last night - now if can only continue that level of effort & performance going forward we have a good bench alternative. Ditto perhaps for Hulse if he gets a run out against MK Dons.

Cissé became a useless waste of space based on his recent performances and that was highlighted to the extreme last night - wish Hulse had got a run out. At least in the Middle East & Greece he won't require those gloves. Screw him with his stupid fashion sense & haircuts.
