This is a multi team forum and will remain so as that is the reason the site was set up by the owner. If fans of other teams come on wumming then ignore them and leave us to remove the offending posts. We do not need certain posters going round on every thread talking about Leicester fans and then getting annoyed when they post. Equally we don't need those same people going round every time a Leicester fan posts replying with crap about fingering their grannies, or telling them to **** off and calling them a WUM regardless of the content of their posts. I would have thought that seperating the Proschwitz? Posh? Porn? thread into on topic and off topic would give a hint, but I've come back on again tonight and had to tidy it up again so apparently some people are too thick to take a subtle hint. When I'm tidying up threads some names are beginning to become a recurring theme as being the first posts on threads that need deleting or moving. If it continues then there will be bans (lengths to be discussed with other mods), because 99% of the people who come on here would rather not be reading some kids having a pissing contest to mark out their territory because they can't handle an outsider posting. I'm never bothered by them, they come on here, make the kids cry with some sarcasm & then go on a different thread. I'm actually bored with all the threads turning into some conversation between 3-5 people taking away from whatever the thread is about. Sometimes they add something to the conversation.
If you start banning people for taking the piss and winding people up, this board will end up like the happy clappers on footymad. Give them some grief back or ignore them, they will soon get board and piss off
Perfect. Hopefully whenever I post (or any other Leicester fan) the thread doesn't get dragged into a pissing contest. Most of the time I respond to the thread perfectly well yet people just read the name of who posted it rather than whats posted. I only want to have a bit of banter with you lot, can't be arsed with the whole 'we're better than you' ****e that normally goes on, even if I am known to do that.
We're not talking about banning people for banter. We're talking about banning the people that have been derailing thread after thread by making it about Leicester fans. Lets take the example of the Guardiola thread. AKCJ posted that Guardiola had said he wanted to go to the PL. The response given was "Go away WUM". It's pointless, it derails the discussion, and it's happening too often.
Whilst AKCJ claims to want to post in good humour and with no harm intended on our board it's a complete load of bollocks. Ricardo you pick out one comment from Robo ,I think ,calling him a WUM on the Guardiola thread. Bit misguided IMO. He posts on just about every thread on our board and is clearly after a rise. It's all well and good telling our lot to behave but this clown posts non stop ****e on threads with the sole intent to wind people up. There is a reason he was banned before and he clearly hasn't changed his ways. He carries on being allowed to continuously post nonsense on thread after thread and as sure as night follows day decent posters will knock this board on the head. In short,I'm bored senseless of him and he's only been back a week or so. Just my opinion but I'll be shocked if no one shares it.
Then put me on the ignore list and you don't have to read what I post. You don't have to reply and start a pissing contest if you can't take a joke.
This is perfect Ricardo and overdue. I made the point on a thread last week that it is difficult when responding or replying on here to know if you are replying to 13 yr old or 30. Banter is fine but some of the ridiculous childish remarks recently needed addressing.
I am starting to agree with Carmen, it's only this Andy that is spoiling a lot of spreads with childish crap most of the other Leicester fans seem OK, not sure why they want to contribute so much to Hull Citys board though
I’ve no problem with WUM at the end of the day you can just ignore them, football banter has been around since the start of the sport. Admittedly it gets tedious when you get two immature individuals who start a childish spat
I picked that one because it's one of the most recent, and because I knew immediately where to find it. I could also go and find another thread where the first response was "I wonder how long it will be before a Leicester fan jumps on it", or I could go and find the deleted posts about fingering grannies that came in similar circumstances, or I could seperate that locked thread into seperate threads again based on where I moved the posts from. The problem you'd then have would be explaining why almost every single thread was started by a City fan making a pissy comment about Leicester or one of their fans, and almost none of them were started by Leicester fans. And it's not just been AKCJ that's been on the receiving end.
well said , for the most part when someone takes the piss they cant deal with the reaction - and thats most wummers from most teams. is that the most times you can say most in a sentence and most of it still makes sence - a bit
It's a football messageboard, post what you feel is relevant and ignore what you feel is irrelevant. It's not rocket science for f**ks sake!!!!
My opinion, for what it's worth given that none of the so called mods have ever complied with anything I have requested or suggested, is somewhat different. I regularly go onto a number of other teams boards to swap ideas, to ask for information and to have some banter. I tend to do this with the other teams as we play them. I stick around for a few days before and a few days after, then I move on. Most places I go tend to understand the "game" and I have good communication. What I try not to do is to overstay my welcome by continuing to post on other teams boards too long beyond there being a reason to be there. I my view that is wumming and should be stamped on by the mods. Ricardo bangs on about ignoring people who wum, well why should we? The Leicester nobheads continue to post on our board week-in-week out about subjects that are specific to Hull City and nothing to do with Leicester. Most of the time they make negative comments like "That's your season over" as was posted today. Ricardo keeps saying he will deal with Wumming, well I'm sorry but he deals with it by doing nothing. Once again I welcome banter and dialogue from fans of all clubs on this board, but I'm sick of having certain posters from other clubs constantly, week after week after week coming on here because they just want to create a degradation to our board.
