It's almost a year since he scored that equaliser at Upton Park, so he's due another midweek goal in London. Sadly, however, it's not a Tuesday.
Wasn't it you that said in a thread at Christmas that you didn't want much as you were fairly well off and didn't have children ?Make the most of it................
John Terry in Captain's notes: "Jack Cork has done brilliantly since joining Southampton. It will be great to catch up."
SAINTS: Boruc; Clyne, Yoshida, Hooiveld, Shaw; S. Davis, Schneiderlin (c), Cork, Puncheon, Guly; Rodriguez.
makes sense, play a defensive game with the occasional counter attack with two fantastic players to make an impact from the bench if needed.
How is it surprising? It's a defensive line-up, and Lambert was left out for Man City away as well. Doesn't look like Chelsea are doing us any favours with their team tonight!
Plus Rickie has been rested before when we have had two games in 3/4 days. Not gonna bother reading the Facebook/Twitter comments.
A very interesting team selection from Adkins. Good to see Shaw is in and glad Guly is in. I think Adkins has done the right thing. Look at how effective Rickie was coming off the bench against City.
