On loan to the middle east until the summer and then to Greece. We get 500k for the loan and they pay his wages.

    Good deal for us.

Mixed feelings about this flyer. We have to acknowledge his contribution to keeping us up last year but played like he was disinterested this year. Not a team player IMO.

So Cisse has gone, DJ is going and we've signed Remy. God forbid he gets injured and we're down to Bothroyd & Hulse......

Zamora must be close to coming back but even so.

Does anyone else think we might be closer to landing Odemwhinger than is being let on??

Deserves great recognition for keeping us up. A genuine natural finisher and us question if he was given the service he actually needed to perform this year.

I guess there is also an element of needing to attempt to balance the books. Not sure what Cisse was on, but it must have been a fair amount.

Obviously lost interest this season, wasn't getting decent service and the crowd on his back. Right thing to move on, but a shame because he could have become a hero with the right attitude and support. Pure goal scorers have to be selfish, but perhaps he took it too far. They also have to score goals.

Read somewhere he's on £45k a week, but don't take that as gospel.

Personally, I'd be delighted to see the back of him, Nuts. Sure he scored some vitals goals last season, but the Rs only survived by the skin of their teeth. But for his sendings off and suspensions, it is just possible that the escape would have been sooner and more convincing. Of course, we shall never know.

In my opinion, though, he's been a huge disappointment on the pitch this season and, by some accounts, his performance last night was nothing short of disgraceful. Whilst he's had personal problems recently (which Swords will have no sympathy for) his off-field antics have been nothing less than embarrassing. He can take his short skirts, hand bags and skimpy panties elsewhere as far as I'm concerned. As well as his daft haircuts and dye.

    Au revoir, Monsieur Cisse.

Very good finisher but all he cared about was himself, he celebrate a goal if we were 5-0 down. Him and DJ will cover Remys wages.

I'm glad he's gone, Remy is a massive upgrade on him, better in the air, faster and can play up front on his own.

Odemwingie handed in a transfer request as he thought our offer was good enough to let him leave.

good job really, Harry showed against Spurs that he would rather start without a striker than start with Cisse

I can't give him the same thanks as you guys because the 7/8 games he missed being an unprofessional arse getting sent off made our life much harder and his goals were a pay back that he owed us.

We all know he can score goals but we are not a team that can handle the luxury of a player unwilling to work for the team!

Glad to see the back of him as well...not a team player and not enough work for me. Remy in Cisse out, good business. But if we are to lose DJ as well, then surely we are still short up top? Hopefully someone else will be coming in?? AJ will be out of the 25, leaving Bothroyd, Zamora and Remy as our strikers - guess we could include Mackie, Adel and Hoilett as cover...

    Not so sure about that...

Glad we get rid of him. Never liked him even if he scored us to safe last season. Without his stupid sending offs we would have not been so deep anyhow. In quatar he should have time to sort his hair any colour or shape he ever wantš.......

Sky reported tonight that Odemwinge has stated he wants to come to QPR, thinks 2.5 mill is a fair price for his services and if a deal is not accepted he will hand in a transfer request.
