Indeed, very healthy compared to beef allegedly. Eaten it a few times but have never seen it on sale in the UK. The "Human Chips" thread is concerning though.
Probably. I was listening to a Christian preacher the other day and he was urging his congregation not to eat pork because the pig doesn't digest properly and a lot of toxins and sh*t ends up in the meat. Maybe he has a point.
I'm worried about sausages after a mate of mine claimed that they were filled with brains, gristle, entrails and powdered bones... ...but I reckon it's just bollocks.
"And the swine, because it divides the hoof, yet does not chew the cud, it is unclean unto you: you shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase." - Leviticus 11:7,8; Deuteronomy 14:8 Buon appetito
"meat" is a bit non specific, could be any part of the animal with added "Pink Slime": http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pink_slime
I do like a nice ***got in onion gravy... My dad said during the war the resturant he worked in used horsemeat in their goulash and they couldn't get enough of it... Anyone for a McShergarburger?...
