I think I was Bayern ( had left the Liverpool job after winning everything) and Bayern had been completely gutted: no Gomez, Robben, Schweinsteiger, Lahm. I had a really light squad as well, after about two months up came a message " Bayern in takeover talks" that January I got 60 mil to play with.

 

Twats, I told you when I signed you, SQUAD ROTATION PLAYER. Oh you're not happy on the bench? Feck off then, start showing some effort and I might start playing you! You were free agents a month ago, now look at you.. Sitting on the bench for a Championship club - Could life be much better? Ungrateful knobs.

 

Maybe if you get a Bradford type up to the Championship or Premier League and start struggling to improve the team because of cash etc you have a chance of being taken over then? Not sure if it is even on this game, not seen a mention of any team being taken over. Have a look at the offical Fifa pages and see if there is anything about it, I can't be arsed

 

Stoke always get taken over in my games and start buying ridiculous players.

You can buy it using the points in the store - I did that once it was quite nice but felt like I was cheating. I've used that to buy a "find a superstar" with my scout though. They find you one awesome young talent each year

 

Started yet another new game, took over Aldershot Town! Sold off most of players and bought a 2 x three star scout. Managed to finish second in first season. Got a decent squad for start of League One with vast majority under 20.

PS...yes, I simulated a lot of games. Its the start in lower leagues that I find boring, will play more from Championship and up

I loved this game, but for me the computers defenders are god like. I had dyer free on goal, and terry caught me from being 3 or 4 yatds behind.....wtf.

Also, you can't beat the feckers. Have to rely on one twos, out Crosses, they always tackle me......grrr.

Will get back on Ingolstadt tonight, had a look at all the players I had signed and loaned and I have chopped and changed more than Rafa and Raineiri combined!

Got to 1 September 2013, completing the transfer window before going to bed. However, it also crashed on me as I was going to save it so when I reload t will be somewhere in August (I do regular saves because of the crashes, I don't trust the autosave facility despite it being turned on all the time)

Edit: I played about a dozen of the games. No chance of getting second if I didn't play some of them considering how **** I'd made the squad to get a scout

 

Crashes and doomsday? Turn that copy in and get a new one man!!

 

Going to get a new one in February. Can't afford to be splashing £3 all over the place

An older cheaper good one is Carrasso from Bordeaux.
