Surely sensible to loan him out rest of season to Ipswich or similar and see whether we stay up / go down and might need him next season?
The difficulty though will be to persuade him he has any future with us. Manager after manager has shown by his actions that they don't think he is first team material so let him go and good luck to him
Don't think a loan is an option as he only has 6 months or so left on his contract so he is free to discuss a move, I think!
Unfortunately due to sickness & injury DJ never got the opportunity to really show his worth here. Ipswich seemed to love him and he had no problem scoring goals there, as Leon Clarke continues to demonstrate at Coventry. Perhaps Ollie might also try to grab him for Palace?
Was never given a fair crack of it at QPR IMHO. Hope he stays on our books and gets a loan move, but best of luck to him wherever he ends up.
Like I said yesterday I've heard he is Ipswich bound but I don't think they are interested in another loan so its a catch 22 really
Is that true? My other half thinks he's great (to the point where she adapted Gangnam Style to Campbell Style and sings it every time he scored - seriously). She'd go nuts if he signed. Agree with Wubs though that a loan to see what happens is the most prudent move (good post).
