I think your insider is either Dominic King of the mail or Tony Barrett of the times...............

well there is no doubt he is delaying his move to gala, as various quotes will tell you, and the manager at gala has mentioned something about sneijder talking to a PL club. can't remember which paper I read that in. United?

He may well have been scouted previously, but Rodgers had no DOF 'advising' him to do anything & even if there was an outline deal agreed, he'll have had the final say or the vetto should he have not wanted the player.

I'd just turned the radio on in the car last night and the goal went in, car thermometer was reading -2, my immediate thought was there's going to be some pissed off folk in that crowd. Have to say I didn't hear your mate's cries of despair though.

Sneijder would be a very good signing for us but come on, it's not going to happen.

For 8 million it's not a massive risk if you could get his wages down.

We paid 7 million for Bebe and you a similar amount for Adam. It makes me feel like there is more too it though ? Why is nobody interested ? Less than a year ago he was attracting interest at 30 million.

The thing is with Ince they apparently agreed to a £6m fee, and then LFC said oh we have the 35% sell on clause we he to take in2 account too, so in reality thats £4m

So Oyston said, well the price has moved up to £8m ( really £6m after clause), making the sell on clause void.So basically Oyston just upped the price, cause we have a sell on clause

Crazy but again, could we not have looked at them? I always think that when I see a good player move to a club that ( no offense to anyone reading) is not as attractive other than $$$.

So Harry convinced M'Villa to join QPR as a stepping stone to one of the Manchester clubs, why didn't he just go straight to Arsenal then?
