i think your valuations are pretty fair though i'd hope for a little more for morison, maybe closer to £2.5m. plenty of championship clubs would snap him up if he was put up for sale. one things for sure, we won't let any go if there isn't one coming in!
Id love to sell jackson and morison to bring in Berg (on loan) and either Hooper or Graham. On news now there is a report saying Graham is keen on pushing a move to Sunderland through though so...? Our attack would be a lot better if still not outstanding this way which is what we need I think. We just need a few better players up to to help link play and perhaps score a couple
berg is a strange one. was hailed as a genius as a youngster and his career has totally stalled. not sure he's what we want though he is a very talented striker. as for two out, two in this january, i think we should all be happy if we get one in!
PJs I completely agree with being happy with one in. My thoughts above are a sort of "in an ideal world this is what id like" rather than a "this is what I think should and will happen". I think that whilst Bergs scoring record isnt great, he would still probably be a better footballer than both Morison and Jackson and (similarly to Holty this season) link play better and hold the ball up rather than being a goalscorer outright. I think Id prefer Graham as we know he can do it this season. Not sure about Hooper, we know he can score but can he lead a line on his own? I genuinely dont know as I cant stand watching Scottish football cus its pointless (I guess unless you are looking at potential new signings lol)
4 and a half years - wow. sure he will have a release clause though, and rangers will be ok with that you'd have thought.
Yeah, I live with a QPR fan who thinks there's a clause that he can go for £2m if they get relegated.
also, danny graham to sunderland? i cannot see this at all. he is a bonafide geordie lad and i believe he's on record as saying he would never want to play for sunderland. newcastle maybe, but sunderland? nah
this does not sound like a guy who wants to play for the mackems. of course, stranger things have happened but would take some time to live this one down... https://twitter.com/FootballFamily_/status/291542116050538496
I think that if they stay fit, Remy and M'Vila might actually keep QPR up. I know people will say "but they spent big before and it didn't work". This difference this time is that they aren't buying has-beens but instead, they are going for genuine quality in the form of two French internationals. They only need a couple of wins to get out of the relegation zone and with this kind of quality and a class manager, this will be much easier to achieve.
Fair enough Thats what i get for believing sh1tty rumour sites lol. Then again remember what Marc Tierney said once before he came to us?
Remy has only scored one goal in ligue 1 this season so he might not be the saving grace that QPR are hoping for.
there is no question both players are extremely talented footballers. however, both have been massively out of form this season and both have had off field issues. both are clearly there for the money so its certainly going to be interesting to watch just how 'up for it' they are. if either do well they will leave in the summer anyway, not that qpr would care if they keep them up - this is desperate measures at its most desperate. if it backfires the club is in a dire financial position. question is, is it worth risking an entire football clubs future on?
