they were getting angry and denying the rumoured launch date because.....It was actually going to be the day before?
Does that mean Bianchi won't be at Force India then? Surely they wouldn't want to steal his thunder...
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/105136 Ferrari feeling the need to confirm that Massa's recent upsruge in form will not cause tension with Alonso. Why? Why would they need to publicly announce this unless there was some tension or rumours going around about it!?

Great interview from Pat Fry (translated by KnucklesAgain on Autosport): There were rumours that Ferrari used one of their straight line tests to test an RBR exhaust, but had problems with overheating. Is Pat Fry confirming those rumours? Domenicali did say there are "interesting developments" in the exhaust area.
Off topic slightly, but I heard rumours that IRBR were using an aqua pool to test all their aero parts rather than a standard aero tunnel. Since this aqua pool wasn't in the rules so the FIA couldn't restrict it or something.
Hmm, if they are, I'd be impressed! Have you got a source at all? Getting the Reynolds numbers to correlate would be pretty difficult I'd have thought, although my aero knowledge is pretty limited.
Hmmm, if I remember correctly it was in a different language so it will be harder for me to find. But basically they would create wash over the car with multiple water jets under water in this massive pool to give a more stable result than an actual wind tunnel would give, and of course it wasn't restricted by the rules. It was a quick read over but that's what I read anyway and it just stuck with me. Hydrodynamics that's what it was: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fluid_dynamics Now what exhaust layout does that look like gentleman? please log in to view this image They also use CFD at the same time to get a more accurate result: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computational_fluid_dynamics Could be the excuse for all that water in the floor they have, looks like they funnel that collected air with the tunnel, collect the moisture, heat it with the alternators, and then have it pumped out of the exhaust for a denser + more stable airflow over the diffuser. Your welcome Fry
I hear stories that though Marca try very hard to get as close as possible to the real design of the Ferrari, in actuality they're always wrong Don't think Ferrari would be stupid enough to allow Marca to slap a car design a few days early if it was close enough, considering the likes of IRBR and McLaren in particular never reveal anything to the media.
http://www.f1zone.net/news/2013-ferrari-to-hide-step-in-nose/17505/ Also La Stampa say that the 2013 Ferrari will be nearly a second faster than it's predecessor, and these gains are as a result of: - Tyres = 5 tenths - Exhaust = 1-2 tenths - Suspension = 1 tenth - Front wing = 1 tenth Though I'm sure they'll gain more than that. Several sources over the winter have mentioned that the radiator position will change to improve internal aero, and now they have McLaren's wing expert David Sanchez so should be able to copy McLaren flexible front wing. Other new signings like Bigois will no doubt have many interesting new ideas.
Hang on, if the tyres alone are bringing half a second, surely everyone will have similar gains? So really Ferrari have made half a second, which probably puts them where they'd have liked to have been at the end of 2012...
