    The only thing about NUFC is that it's for sale. This is the only 'conspiracy' worth entertaining, as the club bears all the hallmarks of a company preparing itself either for IPO or to be bought out. And as Ashley has run the club like a business as opposed to a modern, money-no-object-screw-the-balance-sheets football club, it's a fair assumption to make.

    Pards is there because he's a) cheap, b) lucky to have the job and c) just about competent enough. Not because he owes Llambias!! We buy cheap sell high, are one of the most profitable in the league and I firmly believe that when the Fiscal results are out later in the year, the club will be made available for sale. Not via eBay like the last attempt, but quietly and hopefully with a modicum of tact.

    I believe he owes Ashley, who actually paid his debt to the Casino that Llambias was manager of at the time.

    Regardless of what we think, it's in Ashley's interest to keep us up and in a valuable position.

    It would make no sense for us to go down, we'd lose money.

    But where is the sense in it? Surely someone from the media would have uncovered this little doozy by now, it's not as if we're talking lunar landings or 9/11 conspiracy, is it! There is absolutely no sense in giving him a long contract to pay off debt - if you owe, you owe. Legally, you're done - employing someone for a long, long time is of no consequence. For example, is Pards living in a 3 bed semi in Gosforth, or is he living it up on a large salary in Ponteland? I mean, come on.
