Smoked salmon and cream cheese from Tesco or a BK double cheeseburger.

Yes even as a man the name Martha is highly non appealing and when mentioned with food it's not a good vision at all.

I like the normal standard sarnies. Egg (all types) marmite, cheese, bacon, sausage, chips etc, but when I feel like having a heart attack this is my favourite, and it's my own recipe...sort of.

2 slices of uncut bread - must be proper doorstep size.
Butter the bread thickly (no marge or healthy spread alllowed)
Insert corned beef, branston pickle (original), cheese slice, proper spam, more branston, cheese slice again, haslet and then fry in a frying pan until halfway between soggy and crispy.

That is a proper artery clogging sarnie for you. And it tastes bloody lovely.

This recipe was brought to you by the knackered chef <ok>

Egg was ruined for me during my school days...

I bought an egg sandwich, and every bite was crunchy... :emoticon-0119-puke:

She couldn't have jammed more eggshell in there if the dinner lady (I would call her a chef, but I think the armpit hair in the chicken coronation the week before confirms she wasn't exactly expecting a michelin star at some point in her career) just smashed the eggs into the sandwich without peeling them... Never before that point had food attacked me, but the shards of the shell actually stabbed me, to complete the sensation of feeling robbed... £4 for a sandwich? For that sandwich no less? In 2006? Are you mental woman?!

One of my pet hates in life is having eggshell in my mouth now. YUCK.

But is it a sandwich? Are toast-ended sandwiches a toasted sandwich, or since the bread was toasted separately from the filler, is it something else entirely?

Nice choice of ingredients though! <ok>

    Right, was going to say:

Cheryl Cole > Obi Wan > Adriana Lima

But as this may contravene the rules detailed by the official sandwich police, I will go for:

Bread > Cheryl Cole > Obi Wan > Adriana Lima > bread

    Hmmmmm....

:police: Having checked over your selection, it seems perfectly fine to me, even if it makes a bit of a moist sandwich :police:

The fun with a fried or poached egg sarnie, is trying to eat it before the yolk explodes all over. A bit like scrubbing your face and trying to avoid the zit bursting.
