Fulham are winning. The loyal 37 must be ecstatic.

Now the MK Dons game is on Sat 26th.....and we then play MAN City at home 3 days later. Thinking we'll be putting out a similar team against the Dons as we did tonight.

    From BBC:

    2231:

QPR boss Harry Redknapp has confirmed that Loic Remy has had a medical today, and a deal to sign Yann M'Vila is 'very close'. Could be a very busy month at Loftus Road..

    2232:

Harry Redknapp has just sung the theme tune to Sports Report as well. Box office stuff from the QPR manager.

Straigh from the horses mouth! Get in!

I guess it's all in the placement of the ball? Seems like he worked his socks off tonight and teamed up well with SWP & Mackie.

Definitely grafted (except Cisse), it wasn't pretty but the result is what counts.

Big confidence booster and reinforces the belief.

Unbeaten in 2013 (accepting only 15 days in), but like many R's, I'll take the good news.

    You R'sssssss

Hopefully in the second half of this season, we can continue to perform & accumulate points as Blackpool did in the first half of their relegation season, and unlike them, stay up.

Our guys standing & watching, so not sure if shooter should have been closed down, shot blocked etc.

I guess with effort, you make your own luck and we achieved that this evening.

    What a sentence!

I should try teaching that one to my English students.

Think we should bring in the best team we can get (at least for 45 minutes) to keep the regular players in good shape - and of course I would like to see our team to go through to the next round for a change.

A few quick thoughts on last night :-

The first half was fairly dour. Cisse is a spent force with us. We have to get rid, though he's playing so badly, who would want him ?
Betty was wide right, OK when he's going forward, but defending is not his strength. Bit dogy down that side. Also we seemed to obsess about passing our way out of trouble, rather than hoofing it occasionally. Green made a great save - I think if we had conceded in the first half, the heads would have gone down.
Second half, Cisse off, Betty in the middle, pace down the left with SWP, much better ! I said to my mate after an hour that if we weren't destined for extra time and pens then it would be us that nicked the goal. And so it was ! Scrappy goal but deserved as we were putting increasing pressure
    on them.
So other than losing my toes after half an hour, it was a good night ! Confidence is growing and with the new additions I think we could actually do this.
Odimwingie came on - an interesting tactic and I wonder what's going on in his head ? If he is interested in a move then I can't believe he was really up for it last night. I guess the next few days will tell us.

The eye of the beholder?; according to Sky, 'Bothroyd got plenty of power into his downward header from Faurlin's corner, and Myhill could do little but help it into the corner of the net'.
