Nunez I think didn't have much of an opportunity. wasn't he slated the moment he got on the pitch. Nunez who's played really well at every club he's played for except Leeds. Grella had a chance and was utter rubbish but like I said don't think Nunez was given a fair crack at the whip

Nunez scored a couple against Bradford in the League Cup (although i think he had a poor game that night). He also scored the 4th in the 4-1 win over Hull in which we played really well without Howson and Gradel. He then won us the game with a couple of good strikes at Donny in the League Cup. However, the problem came after Gradel was sold and Nunez was used as his direct replacement on the wing. He was terrible in 2 home games against Palace and Bristol and subbed off early. He then didn't start again for around 3 months. Unfair pressure placed on him sadly!

Jock, I think it's probably more to do with ensuring we now hang on to our best academy talent, rather than sell them in a fire sale a year or so down the line. Would like to see him on the bench & starting cup matches to help him progress. If he's not going out on loan again, he definitely needs game time.
