I often read this from you mate, but in a 4-2-3-1 the two holding midfielders don't need to be creative artistes. Also, from what I've seen from clips of M'Vila, he can pass the ball well. Get the ball to Adel in the centre and he will link the play.
I have a very good reason for saying that. You know that I watch Real Madrid also and they're playing 4-2-3-1. And they have Xabi Alonso and Khedira as central pair. You can't imagine how much problems they have when opponents close down Alonso even they have Ronaldo, Ozil, Di Maria etc etc. but Alosno is really heart of the team and he keeps them ticking
I don't think it is mate. When defending, Granero can drop back to assist McVilla. However, it's the forward momentum that will stop us having to park that bus to the extent we've had to. You don't have to do that if you can play more in your opponents half and keep THEM under pressure.
