Rediculous to think these are the same people who upheld Derry's red against United last year.

Same old **** regarding the big club favouritism. Absolute ****ing jokers.

Typical of our luck this season. Could have done without him on Tuesday week.

Ridiculous OP. Of course it should be overturned, it was never a red card.

I really do despair at the mentality that pervades on here at times.

Faye of Hull City did a far worse tackle and only got a yellow last weekend, so it's a case of inconsistancy again.

Agree Swords, although it was a hard tackle it was a fair one and didn't even deserve a yellow.

Was an excellent tackle but I don't think it's unreasonable to say that if this were Clint Hill, Emmerson Boyce or Kaspars Gorkks they wouldn't dream of rescinding it.

Personally I never want to see excellent tackles like Kompany's being punished but if that was Mbia or Diakite would it have been overturned? don't think so. Just highlights FA inconsistency.

It seems every time a decision is made someone tries to make more of it than there actually is. This red card was unjustified. Kompany was in more control of his tackle than Wiltshire was. Inconsistencies throughout football regarding decisions will always exist.
They've rescinded cards for lower placed teams and upheld cards for higher placed teams. Some people just have small man syndrome I think.

Big team mentality at the FA unfortunately.......although the right decision they should have over-turned Derrys' last year then we would not have any grounds for complaint.

It was never a red. I like the lad but when we beat them it will feel so much better that he played. And lost
