The bombs, we still don't know who sent them, as for the attack, he obviously wound up somebody and was attacked. If I go to an Old Firm game at Celtic park with my Rangers strip on and sing Rangers songs in the Celtic end, do I deserve to be attacked?
he obviously wound someone up? So someone invades the pitch and attacks Lennon and you once again push the blame towards Lennon for winding that fan up somehow? I can't even be annoyed debating with people who will just find ****ey excuses to back up their already pre formed judgements.
Yeah, you're probably right. But what the **** has that got to do with Neil Lennon? Sounds to me like you're trying to justify the unjustifiable by citing ridiculous examples. Seriously, you're starting to sound desperate.
Is the BBC good enough for you? I don't see your problem with accepting that: a) Neil Lennon doesn't deserve the **** he gets b) Lennon inflames the situation by making ridiculous and insulting comments
Wolsey "What we are looking for is somebody to compete and give Rangers a game," said Lennon. "There has not been much evidence of that in their previous two games." Prove him wrong. At that point Rangers had just beaten Hearts 4-0 and Motherwell 5-0 and Dundee Utd 4-0. If I said there wasn't much evidence that Hearts didn't compete last night would you say I was wrong? As I said, SAF says things like this all the time down south and no one assaults him or sets up websites asking people to kill him. Maybe instead of blaming Neil Lennon you should turn your attention to the people who are really responsible. I would suggest looking at Follow Follow, BBC 606 and the Rangers board on not606 as a starting guide
Why should Mick try and explain why a Hearts fan attacked Neil Lennon? It's you lot trying to justify the abuse Lennon gets with your "aye but..." justification, not us.
Erm Gordon Strachan was attacked by a Celtic fan on two separate occasions at Parkhead and Pittodrie. Notyhing was made of it. Why was he attacked? Because he was despised by Celtic fans. Did he deserve it? Was it religiously motivated? Don't think so but I could not even tell you what religion he is (if any). As usual we will probably get the usual response from Celtic fans - aye but that was years ago and he didn't get bomb threats and nobody cares anyway. Or maybe Strachan deserved it eh? And let me just add nothing that Neil Lennon has done or has not done deserves the **** he has been exposed to and especially not his family.
No "aye but..." from me. It was wrong and totally unjustified. I look forward to a Rangers fan saying something similar about Lennon but they just cannot do it I'm afraid.
Because Celtic had just scored their second Neil and some prick lost the head? Tell me that's not exactly what happened.
has walter smith ever been attacked in his 12/13 years of management at Rangers? No because he's not a Chavtastic scumbag trouble making arsehole
