Why do McCourt and McGinn do? Neil Lennon is a colourful character but nothing they say or make up about him can justify bomb threats or him being assaulted. All people like you do is try to blame Neil Lennon for what's happening when the blame should lie with the thugs and bigots who are doing this. it's nothing more than an attempt to deflect from the reality of what's happening. Two minutes spent on Follow Follow and you'll see the problem: hatred and bigotry.

In what way did he "insult" the Hearts team? And how does that justify the abuse and the assault? You lot will blame anything and anybody for the situation apart from your own fans. SAF winds up other club's managers and fans all the time down south but doesn't get this level of abuse and has never, as far as I'm aware, been assaulted on the side of a football pitch. Maybe you should start pointing the finger of blame at the people who are spreading the hatred and abuse instead of trying to justify it by blaming Neil Lennon.

He kicked a bottle in frustation at Inverness and cupped his ears at Ibrox after 2 hours straight of one way abuse. What a scoundral. He once also apparently said "orange bastard" about 8 years ago according to a Rangers supporting lip reader who watched a fuzzy video which had no audio on youtube.

He questioned the professional integrity and honesty of the Hearts and Dundee Utd teams by claiming they try harder against Rangers than they do against Celtic. Are you surprised that Hearts fans are pissed off by this? Where do I say that the assault is justified? It's pretty clear from my comment that I think the Hearts fan is an arsehole. All I'm saying is that Lennon can't make provocative remarks and then be surprised if some nutter overreacts. Why would I blame Rangers fans for something a Hearts fan did? True. Again, I'm not trying to justify it. However, we live in the real world and Lennon has to be aware that making provocative comments like he did will get a reaction.

Yes, it is true about SAF so you have to question why Scottish fans behave in he way they do. Why did a Rangers fan set up a website encouraging other fans to kill Neil Lennon for example? We live in the real world? What's happening isn't the real world to most of us. It's a sick little word littered with bigots and thugs. I go back to what I said earlier.
