First Avenue tomorrow 18.15 Kempton is forecast price 8/1. That can't be right surely.

Creek Falcon is very interesting in the 4.30 at wolves. Won over a mile at dundalk and has now gone to the david o'meara yard who have been in cracking form. 7/1 will do for me!

If you watch the 3.05 back I also thought the same about Thorntons ride on Current Climate. Luckily I was on the winner but was scrabbling for the paper during the race to remind myself who was on the second... it looked that bad. I wonder if he's injured to some extent...it was that poor in my book.

Drifted to 14/1 and ran a nice race to finish a close-up 3rd

Double Dash won that with so much more in hand then he looked like. He is the biggest monkey of a horse around and I don't know if we'll ever see how good he is as I'm unsure if he'll ever bring it all to the track. He's definitely one to be on next time as I don't think he'll be crucified as it wasn't much of a muchness that race but he seemed to comfortably stay 3m.

The only logical explanation for Andy Thornton's ride was that the saddle slipped. I actually quite rate him as a jockey and he's much, much better than that! Won a Gold Cup sure!

Ardent, thats the way Andrew "Daddy Long Legs" Thornton has always ridden I'm afraid..not aware of anything else coming to light as yet.

He isn't as active as in previous years which is why we don't get to see him ridng a finish very often.

He is undoubtedly the least stylish pro jockey currently riding but the long stirrup style works for him and he has had considerable success with it (Gold Cup winner)..the downside is he's pretty average in a finish.

Agree with ROTO that the winner was only dossing in front and had a little left.

Cheers for the winner today Boris, I was sceptical about his staying power, still am, so only half stakes. You should let me win that free bet on your site, thatway it would get used wisely.

Out tonight hawkeye so not looking at the cards, you know I like the horse though!
