    In small doses it's fine but the problem i have with watching any American sport is the obsession with stats. Someone could score a fantatsic touchdown and rather than dwell on the skill involved the commentator immediately reels off 100 statistics about yards ran, yards rushed, the length of the pass, the speed it takes for the quarterback to eat a hamburger and pass it through the other end etc etc etc. It's relentless and very, very irritating.
