    Good Morning Everyone,

We could do without it at the moment, but there's a 4th round tie with Spurs up for grabs, if we can beat the blues, literally!!!

A 1-1 drab draw 10 days ago at Elland Road saw Becchio grab a reply for us.

Maybe a display tonight will give our team the kickstart they need to get the second half our our campaign going!!!

Having not been able to string more than two passes together, and recording one shot on target in three games has put Manager and team under pressure. For the first time in a long time, the team good deservedly booed off the pitch at Oakwell!!!

Do players derserve to get booed, however bad they are playing? They are representing the club we love, and it could effect their moral. On the flip side of the coin, if you travel thousands of miles, spending hundreds of pounds a game (in some cases), surely you should be allowed to have your say???

    Who should play tonight?

Which Blues players would you like to see in a Whites shirt? Remember, Birmingham HAVE to sell.....

Morning Elland. Have to be honest and say I'm struggling to get fired up over the FA cup. Don't want to see another embarrassment against spurs like we got against Chelsea. The club or team do not need to be playing top premiership teams at this time. What did the Chelsea game do for morale? We haven't hardly recorded a shot on target since. Better off well out of it I say

Morning Elland. Agree that we probably don't want this match tonight. But it does give squad players an opportunity to show that they should be playing. The biggest thing for me tonight is not the result, its playing some decent stuff & creating chances.

On who should play, I would have Drury at LB, Poleon somewhere, Ashdown in goal, Peltier at RB, Somma & Ross up front to give Becchio & EHD a bit of a rest as well as Somma some much needed game time. I'd also play Green & AN Other probably Brown in CM given that Barclay & Tonge can't play. I might also be tempted to rest Byram & give Hall a roving role on either wing.

Do players deserve to get booed? Yes, as it reminds them who oays their wages & what the fans want. We sing their praises when things are going well & we're playing well. Why shouldn't there be a bit of booing when they're playing so badly?

Morning guys, I too can't be arsed about tonight as we need league performances, not extra pay in the cup.

Should players be booed, YES and I've never yet seen a Leeds player sweating blood and getting booed. If all the lads worked hard, ran and harried the opposition, they wouldn't get any flak and would just get cheers and applause even if they were crap. So YES if they're not willing to put a shift in, why should we bother with them.

Warnocks mouth runneth over again, talking about leaving if the fans don't want him. Come on Neil, if you want to be here next season, then prove to us you've got what it takes. Up to now all we've seen is you gobbing off and blaming everyone but yourself. I remember last season when you said " Thats the last time the fans will see a performance like that from my teams". Well you numpty thats all we've seen for the last 3-games and plenty more before the takeover. So sort it the fook out or get out yourself before you get lynched.

As for him gobbing off about agents turning players heads and having a go at Becchio and a couple more. Don't pick them if they're not going to work for the team, and there would be no chance any of them would want to leave, if they thought we had a chance of promotion. Face the facts Neil, these players would all want to be here next season if they thought we had a chance. It just seems like rats leaving a sinking ship, and thats exactly how we long suffering loyal fans feel

Can't see Gimpel being selected. He's not even guaranteed a development team start. That said, he was talked about as being a rising star & one for the future who needed a year off from possible 1sst team action to concentrate on ?his studies?

If he's progressing & now wort a first team place, albeit on the bench for now, why not send him out on loan? Varney might get a look in, but I'd rather see Hall provide some width.

I've a bad feeling about tonights game. But knowing how inconsistent we are, it could be 3.2 win or a 5.0 hammering....

I tend to agree Shaks. But after Saturday it had better be an overall improvement in the way we play. Otherwise Saturday's home gate could be below 19k. Not sure the fans will cope with seeing more cr%p for their 20+ quid.

Just had a thought; you've heard of Racing Santander, Rapid Vienna, & Rapid Bucharest. What could we change our name to to more accurately reflect the way we play & how we would like others to see us. I'll go for Hoofball Rhinos. Any thoughts?

Morning Jock. Fair try. The way some of our defenders tackle, I'd go for the Beeston Kickers, or hands on Leeds.

how about were here to make the numbers up united <ok>

Thats how its felt all season bar a couple of perfomances. I havent been so bored with our style since George Graham, but even then we got results. I could put up with successfull long balls all the time ala stoke west ham but we arent even getting that right. Five a side sessions please NW, get them pinging the ball around on the floor rather than launching it to Becchio then slagging him off considering he's got 17 this season! In fact, I think its time for you to go. I wanted Warnock in, maybe he was the right man 8 years ago but he is stuck in the past tactic wise. Yep, I know his hands are tied to a certain extent but he's not getting the basics right & he's not the same old bastard everyone loves to hate. Think he has lost his hunger & has already retired mentally.

    Rant over. Morning all :)

Morning Bucks. Your rant seems pretty fair & tame to be honest. I haven't been up to ER yet this season because it costs too much & I'm still running at weekends. But I'd be fairly peaved at paying £30 for a rail ticket, another £30 for the game plus a few pints & see us spend 90 minutes hoofing the ball around AND STILL LOSING!!! At least when Stoke do it, they also pass a bit & still manage to win a game or three.

I think we should follow the Hammers' fans lead & sing that "we play on the floor, we play on the floor, we're Leeds Uted, we play on the floor". Maybe Warnock the team will get the message..... & then again, maybe not.

Afternoon all - I gave up on the league long ago, we are not going to get promoted so let's have a nice money spinner against Spurs just in case GFH really are short of a few bob.

Leeds United have reportedly given up on trying to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Kevin Doyle due to wage issues.

The 29-year-old had been linked with a possible move to Elland Road from struggling Wolves, who recently appointed Dean Saunders as the club's new manager.

Despite these reports, it is believed that Leeds are unwilling to meet Doyle's wage demands and any potential move is expected to be quashed, according to the Express & Star.

Doyle has been playing for Wolves since moving to Molineux from Reading in 2009.

Sorry but I can't believe that story is true. Doyle joined Wolves for £6.5m and must be on wages of at least £40k a week. There's no way we could/should pay those sort of wages, especially for a 29 year old, but then very few Championship clubs could either. Why would he want to move when he's on great money and contracted until 2015?
