Evening all - Sounds like an old gits outing on here tonight.. So I may as well join in!

I just cannot see why everyone is getting all excited about FIFA asking the FA for evidence from Triesman's appearence in front of that committee. We all know there will be no evidence - Triesman waited until he could so under parliamentary privelege as he had no evidence. FIFA will spend 6 months investigating and then come back and say that there is no evidence to back up the allegations - these shysters are far to clever to leave evidence sitting on the table. FIFA and F1 are the biggest bunch of crooks in sport...

 

It makes a story w_y. You sound as if you are in need of something calming.

Long day, I had to do my monthly system access audit this morning and it is a very boring exercise.... We are also coming up to the squeaky-bum time in a big system upgrade - 2nd trial is this week-end and I have to be on call all day Sunday. A couple of stressing months coming up...

 

I am doing my best to finish a bottle of Bergerac tonight as Mme. foolishly suggested that a partly drunk bottle would attract ants while we were away.

 

OFH - Hmm sounds good. I used to work for a French guy who originally came from Bergerac and has a "week-end" farmhouse about 10 miles away - not exactly a quick drive from Paris though!

 

As my good friend Bernard would say, "we have a lot of boom boom overhead"

when does good old 606 close down?

 

606 closes at 11 depending on the sporting events. But for some reason it did not open this year on the masters. Maybe the cut backs of the Beeb.

 

Evening all! going back to networks, i'm on 3...and it's the only network i can get in my area without it ducking out now and again. Most reliable.

Okay, i know i said i was getting an early night...so i'm off! lol..night night all, see you tomorrow!

Morning all another day in paradise.......not!

 

Morning All, The tea is brewing in the pot and I will be heading south this morning. Bucket and spade ready for me, Mme has kitchen sink packed.

Big storm with rain for about half an hour last night, but already the road has dried up. The forecast suggests that there will be no more rain for a week and that is becoming a problem for the farmers.

Seems like Newcastle are interested in Danny...that'd be a great move for him i'm sure...sad for us though.

Is funny how the younger ones are so good at foreign languages. We all speak someting but their minds are just so more able to do these things.
