Watching Patriots. Just heard from a magician that Loic Remy has signed for QPR. Not sure what happened at Newcastle probably Llambas again! Gift of the gab from Harry Redknapp perhaps? Thought it was done and dusted to Newcastle. Something must of gone amiss. Great news 4 #QPR

Sky sources: Marseille striker Loic Remy may turn down Newcastle in favour of move to QPR http://tyneandwear.sky.com/newcastleunited/article/52882 … #NUFC #QPR

    from @Scottwilsonecho Scott Wilson Twitter
QPR have agreed fee with Marseille and been given formal permission to talk terms. #NUFC extremely unlikely to match sums offered in London

If he signs for qpr then we know what he is after. Gutting for us but you don't want characters like that at your club

Scott Wilson from the Northern echo has just tweeted, QPR have bid accepted and have now been given permission to agree personal terms. NUFC unlikely to offer sums offered in London!

Jarra, you are kidding yourself if you think that any of them are any different? There are no genuine footballers anymore they are ALL chasing the biggest pay day and it matters very little who they play for.

If they are world class they can choose the best clubs and still earn the money; the next band down are just after the money. He would have been a big, big signing, and may well still be so of course but your brave face is very admirable if he doesn't.

To be fair newcastle are better off without him if that's his attitude, can only be about money.

    Still though..... hahahahahaha

I completely disagree with all of this wages crap. If I was offered two choices, one offering nearly twice the money with the knowledge that M'Vila was joining with me I'd be joining QPR as well. It's not like there's a 20 point gap. It's 7 points. Ba's now gone and the Clown could be on his way. Hatem will be staying for the near future.

Unless Newcastle replace Ba and sign well aside from that I can see QPR overtaking them if they sign the likes of these players.

Jarra - I'm not saying any of the foreign players we sign or may sign will be any different. They are 100% driven by the money not the club they play for. I'm certain that if Gateshead offered them £200k per week they'd be off like a shot.

Bit fishy though that all these 'in the know' journalists reported absolutely nothing before Barton's tweets
