OMG ...as my 12 year old daughter is fond of saying ..... the wit and complexity of this thread has necessitated me calling the Guiness Book Of Records to see whether it breaks the previous record held for the number of women on the blob (or blob pending more accurately) ... it's going to be close ...
A couple of seasons ago we were plagued by Wolves muppets on here who were trying to dazzle us with their ready wit. Now Wolves have had there burst of good fortune and are in the lower half of the league we no longer see them on here. Same will happen with the Leicester muppets. We just have to bide our time and wait it out.
I don't know why we have ****ing infantile threads like this and the Prozzy one on the Leicester board. All they do is create a place for / and therefore encourage childish ****. I'm all for a bit of banter like we have with Leeds but this special relationship with a team that means nothing to most City fans is getting boring.
Criag, I don't disagree. This thread was originally a decent discussion that got hi-jacked by the ****wits, so I copied the thread minus the numpties and it has run unabused, with this thread carrying on under a new name, but as a dumping ground for posts that would otherwise screw up thread after thread. I had hoped that the title would subtly hint at the content so that people wouldn't read it expecting serious debate.
Fair enough, but maybe you should change the thread name again to something more accurate like '**** Chat'.
It's only Leeds fans I don't like, these Leicester lads aren't that bad, wouldn't go read their page though as not interested in Leicester
Why are Leicester fans constantly posting on here? And they say we're their cup final the bunch of ****ing ******s.
You are an absolute **** I have to say, you're so ****ing boring. All you do is post on our board like you have an obsession, you're a weirdo.
The 'rivalry' is not a traditional football rivalry - instead it is more a Forum rivalry that stems from Nigel Pearson having managed both clubs in fairly recent history and the players that moved under his tenure. It has grown over recent months partly due to the size of membership of each board and also the succes we are both experiencing in the league this season - as such there is keener interest in each others results (an in those other teams in the mix). Personally I really enjoy the banter with many Hull posters (both on here and on the Leicester board) but it does, from time to time, get a little out of hand and juvenile which is a shame when it happens.
There is the occasional banter, then there is AKCJ posting on our board every ****ing day. Trying to be funny and constantly talking a load of ****e.
It's not a Hull/Leicester rivalry. I don't see any rivalry between us anymore. It used to be a Hull/Nigel Pearson rivalry, it just so happened that he went to you. If he left for another Club, let's say Bristol City, it would have been with them. The banter now is just what remains from that and nothing else. I was shocked to see Leicester are considered the 3rd biggest rivals of Hull City from our own fans because I'd class many others above Leicester; i.e. York, Scunthorpe, Sheffield United. It will be because of the younger fans that haven't really had reason to believe in our old rivalries, times have moved on and coincidentally, you were on the receiving end due to Pearson leaving the way he did.
I can take defeat well especially when its deserved. On saturday we deserved to lose nothing else to be said. Oh by the way, have you looked at the league table today. I think you shall find Hull City are still in 2nd spot. I shall be watching on friday when you play Middlesboro. Now this game should be a good watch.
I'm by no means the arbiter of what should constitute 'good humour' but personally I see no point in posts that have no other purpose than to point out the obvious in an inflamatory manner e.g 'We've won, you've lost" ... I'm not actually against 'wumming' if it is done with some humour (I'm guilty of indulging myself) but I can't be arsed when it descends into purile insult exchange with nothing to do with footie ... I can get that from the missus on tap...
