And M'Vila poor pass led to Bordeaux's goal yesterday. I'm just afraid of the hype about him, world class in the making and coming to QPR ? Something feels fishy
QPR where did you get this from as I put a link in a thread the other day with exactly the same wording just fear it could be one of these lets guess the next transfer site?
I can't see him playing further forward, he's a defensive midfielder and quite similar to Vieira, here's a video of what to expect should we get him:
I can't remember Real Madrid, Arsenal, Man Utd and Liverpool ever being linked to Derry?? Apparently he's had "off the field" problems which has put teams off, if that means he's available to us, even for 6 months, so be it. Whichever way you look at it, he is a major upgrade on Shaun Derry, however much I like the guy.
Arsenal were linked to Granero and he actually played for Real Madrid yet look how sh*t he's been so far. I just think 8 million quid is a huge asking price. But I suppose we are desperate. Hughes you are such a C*NT.
Mate in the past 10 days we've been linked with 30 players and a lot of that was trash talk made up by journos. But I surely would like him to have big impact for us. The time will tell (if we even sign him)
Yes, he makes the odd mistake but he gives the team much needed honesty and guile and you can see how those around respond to him. I find it laughable for people to pick out his one error when compared to Park's performance. I guess you can't make mistakes if you spend so much of the game running away from the ball. Derry has been written off several times by both managers and the folks on this board but every time he gets back into the side he makes a telling contribution. And don't forget that we have Faurlin, Park and M'bia (and Diakite as things stand) also available for the pivotal role of back 4 cover so he can be rested if required.
I don't think £8m for a top class, young, French International is huge asking price in this day and age!! I agree, we certainly wasted an awful lot of money under Hughes but from what I've seen and heard about M'Vila this would be money well spent. As for Granero, he is a very good player but perhaps his style isn't best suited to the foot of the Premiership, we need grafters and players willing to put the effort in. However, if we can get M'Vila along with M'bia as holding midfielders we might be able to get Granero forward a bit and see a lot more from him?
New twist in Remy deal. Reports saying he is coming to London. Not sure if just agent BS but will confirm if anything comes in.
I like Derry, he's done a great job for us and when he's played he's done better than a lot of others in the squad (I've never even mentioned Park??). However, he isn't a great player, he's a very good Championship player, he gets caught on the ball often and is left for dead by a bit of movement. All I'm saying is that every team in world football would rather have Yann M'Vila in the team than Shaun Derry, so as much as I like Derry, replacing him with M'Vila is a no brainer.
Derry will be gone in the summer, this is his replacement. Its good to sort this out but will mean nothing if we don't get two CBS and two forwards.
SSN LATEST QPR now in for Remy (Arry trying to scupper the deal). Cisse going and QPR listening to offers
